Thanks, I did change up some things for this video. Most of the time I only do things for couple hours on the weekends, sometimes during the week I also do things, but sometimes it also gets tiring. Good that you enjoy the short format, as that is what I prioritize :)

I was thinking to just paint it in the regular green, the British version of olive drab or whatever it is called as it is just kind off synonymous for operation overlord/D-Day.

Oh,I get What you mean,I do have this sort of meshed tape that I have used before,and I have seen many vehicles with it,and hessian tape,so I will probably apply at least a bit somewhere.

Good idea! However, I want to keep this as some sort of milestone for my first car kit. With an Fw14b project in mind ( I already have the kit but not the paints) I am planning to get some spare decals firstly for the camel sponsoring, and maybe in case something goes wrong, like here. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Yeh,I did put a clear coat,however it was for sure a too thin layer,or I just didn’t wait long enough for it to dry and so on,but next time I will probably do 2 passed just to be sure,but Thanks for the tip!

I guess I might have been pretty harsh,and now after you mentioned it,I remember that air pump,as I remember one of the Shadows in the 1977 South African GP pulling over,and the guy was struggling to disconnect it from his helmet,and then the unfortunate happened,but anyways I am thinking of getting Indycal decals,as I have the Fujimi FW16,and FW14B,and Tamiyas Lotus 102B,as I managed to get it for only £35,but the decals are pretty yellowed,sort of Like your ones when you made it.I also use your videos as inspiration as I feel Like you Give the best commentary and show the most,and as I will be making the 102B in some time,your video will be perfect.About my next project,I am quite uncertain as I have started AFV Clubs Churchill AVRE with Snake launcher,along with Trumpeters 1/32 SU-25UB,so we will see which one I finish first(Probably the Churchill as I am almost at the painting phase.Thanks for watching,and can’t wait for friday for a video!

One more quick question,if you read this,for Indycal decals do you buy directly of their website,or of Ebay or something,as I just want to make sure,as their site looks discontinued saying stuff from 2021 and so on,although you can still order,so should I use their website or not?

@@KGmodels Yes, they're still active. It's just saying that 2021 was their 20th anniversary year. If you look on the new releases page you'll see they released a few new decal sets this year.

Well,my birthday was in mid March,and well,I will handle with the Fengda till Christmas,you have convinced me,as I have seen so much good things about the H&S evo,so yeh,and about those problems,I also have had the seal break and I had to fix some other things.Thanks for the tip,and that Panther is for sure going to be fun,especially with the way the tank is built,with the frame and then added on panels,sort of Like it was made in factories.Thanks for the view ;)

Thanks for subscribing first of all,and about the chipping fluid,the paint just started peeling off in massive chunks,and it didn’t look realistic,so screw it I guess and for the stowage,I looked at images on world war phots website,as I find it very useful for stowage and dioramas.Thanks and hope to see the Puma painting soon!

I thought so. From looking at it, I think the glossy red/brown was your problem here. I'm no authority on chipping but I have had good results on a slightly satin surface and using Tamiya acrylic for the colour i want to chip off. Some brands of acrylic are not great for chipping. AK acrylic and Vallejo to name 2, but they are great for brush painting figures ect. Not sure on Ammo as I not used much(think I have 2 Ammo colours)😆. Have a practice its actually a nice effect when you can get it right.@@KGmodels

@afv-studio Yeh,honestly I don’t know why this happened as on a Sturmtiger I done,the red brown was not that glossy,maybe too much thinner or something.I also use Ammo acrylics as I am somewhat confident on using them as I have used them for 2 years and they are also the only ones available at my local hobby store,we will see How the STuG works out,with the build almost done!

I agree,I feel Like it is always just luck,and I can pretty much never get it to work perfectly,however I think a 60:40 thinner to paint ratio is about the best you can get, or maybe 70:30 if you want a bit more of a translucent finish. :)
