Who rebuilds a Cummins diesel motor? Very few. Who rebuilds a Chevy big block motor? Maybe a few more. But then there is the rest of the project too!!! This is an unbelievably BIG project. The series illustrates that very well, and the incredible dedication. A superhuman project I think only just begins to describe it. 👏👏👏👏

I have made a couple of 1/7th speed run fibreglass bodyshells over the years. Very few realise the (massive) amount of work (and complications along the way) making a plug takes. I think you illustrate this very well. The better the plug the better the mold. It takes dedication, which you have abundence. 👏👏👏 For my last 1/7th speed run bodyshell mold I used silicon sealant over the plug. Then covered the sealant in plaster. It worked very well and has made a reusable mold.

Hey Simon, thanks for featuring my hotshot. It was so cool growing up in the same street as you and your Dad. I was always so in awe of his workshop and cars. The days racing rc at the Rose Cottage Inn were so much fun too. I could go on for ages about our adventures, like boxes on skateboards etc. I'm so glad to be able to still call you my friend after all these years.
