Speaker Comparison between JBL and Tribit. Both are playing around 50% volume.
They both have almost same sound quality and loudness. Apparently, Soundcore seems to have did a good job here and can compete with the big boys…
@@ReyCruz-o3w it does alright, it can distort at max and doesn’t have as much bass as the Jbl.
I have 3 soundcore products. One speaker, one pair of headphones, and one pair of earbuds. They all compare to the JBL fairly well, but I prefer soundcore since the price is unbeatable. Sure, you sacrifice the features or build quality of JBL, but it's a good trade-off for some. When I need build quality and durability, I'll stick with my TURTLEBOX Gen 2.
@ soundcore is a solid brand. This one was $400 though so you can actually get a partybox 110 cheaper or even a partybox 120 even.
Is it possible to pared the rave with boom 2 + ?
@@anthonyascione6719 yes the both have the party cast feature
Soundcore should have used 2 woofers, all that space and they only put one, I don't get it.
Should've just put subwoofer instead of woofer. Those 3 full range drivers are good enough to do anything except bass.
@ Very true!
@@thefattmattThe 3 full range drivers were set in such a way as to create a spatial audio atmosphere when rave 3 speaker is positioned sideways. Feel the experience as if you are in outer space listening to the sound of music.
@@ReyCruz-o3w cool feature, assuming it actually works well, but it seems unnecessary in a big party speaker, for spatial effects to work you need to be up close, which you don't do with this type of speaker. Good bass is a more meaningful feature.
How’s tha app setting on the soundcore?
Jbl has better and deeper bass, am I right?
@@jann8490 yes, definitely more noticeable in person as well
I'm guessing so
Tribit se escucha fuerte y estereo. Por jbl no puedo decir lo mismo.
I'd buy the JBL Partybox Ultimate all day long. Diamondboxx is trash, looks like some high school kid project. As for those who want this thing portable, just buy a power bank and plug it in.
Трибит топ
at the final volume soundcores sound is definitely is more open and clear.
JBL muito melhor, pelo menos aqui no meu aparelho.
JBL's sound signature is perfect. The sounds are brighter and sound great. I have a Partybox 710 and motion plus. It is almost impossible for Anker to catch up with JBL.
@@burakstyll I had the 710, thing bumps!
The Anker has midrange speakers not a ported subwoofer 💀
@@sonybasstesterpro2270 soundcore doesn’t produce deep bass but does solid for what it has for drivers
@@Bretto26 I mean it’s understandable they haven’t made partyboxes yet, or any actual ported speaker. But they sure kill the portable speakers competition
always between these brands , Soundcore always have Brighter clear not much bassy sound compare to Tribit more muffled up super bassy sound
Soundcore suena mas completa, con mas rango de frecuencias, la encore enfoca mucho al subbass y agudos una firma muy marcada en V
He is not showing real power of encore i have encore its pretty amazing in this video he must change settings of encore
@@Govtsmart wrong, “he” used and eq and bass boost on it. Tribit just has more power
Que tal que bien se escucha la souncore me gusto mucho la encore no me gusto buen video bro
In person I’d say the Jbl is a little clearer sounding overall, but I have tweaked the soundcore eq so that it sounds better
Aiwa top
Tribit klingt besser !
Tribit Stormbox Blast 2 costly
Is the soundcore on the latest firmware 3.12? Not like that would remotely help against the Tribit lol
@@waynedexter yes, latest firmware
but tribit its so ugly lol
@@FilipeFleming who gave a F about looks is all about sound & bass & dont forget that Tribit is more power 200W to 140W of soundcore i got that Tribit on blk Friday for $209 & also i have 2 of the Tribit blast regional one i bought last year
❤ the lights on the blast 2
Pola punda JBL lights 😮
Thats an encore essential, not the regular version
@@wafrikano they are the same thing minus the battery life and extra lights
@@Bretto26 no, actually the non essential has more power
both are 100 watts rms based on what I’ve seen. How do you know the encore has more power ?
@@Bretto26 100 watts is the driver rating, it doesn't mean that both have the same amps and they send the same amount of power. the essential has a way smaller battery, therefor the speaker will play with less power by battery. if you connect it to AC then it will have it's full potential.
@@Bretto26 but when playing off of battery the essential has less power.
JBL só perde na bateria o resto ganha de lavada
I haven’t tried with both plugged in but both get louder
@Bretto26 significa oque?
@@FabioBatistapereira-vc2nuboth plugged in should give the same result as off battery both just a little louder
Fanboy de JBL entrando em colapso mental 😂😂
@daniel.d. o dia que você tiver uma JBL vai saber o que estou falando 🤐🤐
I think Tribit Stormbox Blast 2 has fuller sound compared to JBL encore
You got some shitty headphones lol
Tribit 2 ganhou em sub
Mana yang lebih bagus?
Overall I’d honestly go with the Tribit
I pick tribit because it has long lasting batery power.@@Bretto26
Qual tem mais grave
The Tribit (one on the right)
Se aude mai bine Encore
Es mi imaginación o soundcore da mejores graves que encore?
Boom 2 plus is all mid bass where the Jbl has more low bass.
Soundcore sound better to my ears
Soundcore es mejor
JBL ultimate is insane but Diamondboxx XL2 truly is in its own category as far as quality. Thank you for the comparison.
JBL's do great indoors and havea nice low bass soundsignature. For quality sounds and outdoor listening, the take it with you of the Diamondboxx can't be beat. I threw my XL3 in the back of my SUV one day and put it on 75% volume and couldn't believe how crazy it sounded in the ride. And could only do that for a couple seconds because of how loud it was. Just driving around with it at 40-50% volume was plenty loud in the vehicle.
does the xl3 have port noise when you listen to bass heavy stuff at loud volumes ? My xl2 has a lot of port noise sometimes.
Where can I buy diamondboxx XL2?
I dont think they sell it anymore, the new version is the xl3 and usually amazon sells it or diamondboxxs website. Its got a few upgrades compared to the xl2.
There website
For all you JBL fanboys, JBL isn’t a Hi-Fi speaker, nor is it portable, the Diamondboxx is a portable Hi-Fi speaker. It’s like comparing a Rolls Royce(Diamondboxx) to a Toyota(JBL).
You're a complete clown if you think compressed bluetooth codecs can be anything remotely close to a Hi-Fi. 🤦♂In fact Ultimate is way close to a Hi-Fi than the trashboxx cause it can play lossless quality audio through Wi-Fi and it's a 3 way speaker.
Well partybox 110 is £10 more then a boom 2 plus . I know which id choose
I loved the commentary! Every time I got confused which one was playing you reminding me was very helpful, thanks bretto26!
Bro name Music
50 cent - ib da club (naxsy & rolf dyman remix) Ive only found it on Soundcloud
This is not a fair battle comparison between the two. One is battery powered and the other needs to be plugged in to get its power source otherwise it’s worthless. As far as sound quality Diamondboxx wins due to its natural balance without any setting boosters. JBL is a party speaker w/ lights and booming bass that rattles after fully breaking in the speaker but what good is it without an power outlet
diamondboxx has a more natural sound while still packing a good punch, spec wise they are not comparable. JBL haws 1100 watts rms and the diamondboxx 600 watts rms. JBL has double the power but the diamondboxx held up better then I expected loudness wise. 600 watts rms for a battery powered speaker is impressive.
@@Bretto26Double wattage doesn’t mean double the sound or quality, the Diamondboxx is a portable Hi-Fi speaker. JBL isn’t Hi-Fi. Of course the sound will be way better on the Diamondboxx, you should’ve gotten an XL3, that would’ve been closer to the truth, the XL2 is outdated.
@@TheLifeGuards rms wattage matters. If something is twice the rms wattage it won’t be double as loud but it will be louder but will just sound bigger if tuned right. I also doubt the xl3 is that much better then the xl2 definitely not worth spending 2k on it. The jbl is a party speaker and it’s great for that. The diamondboxx can do it all but recreates music more towards the way it is supposed to sound.
JBL! PARTY MEANS BASS!
JBL Ultimate has way more deep bass. I actually knew it would have more deep bass even before watchign this video. It is way better, has a much better tone to it. Even vocals are better to be honest
Lmfaooo you must be joking 😂😂😂🤣 the Diamondboxx is a portable Hi-Fi Bluetooth speaker, the JBL is a plugged in, non portable, non Hi-Fi, cheap plastic crap. Of course this is coming from me, an Audiophile, which I know for a fact, you aren’t.
Seems like diamondboxx without the boost is better and maybe not louder, diamondboxx with the boost button might actually lose against with the jbl, anyway this is not the lastest diamondboxx
Yep. Ultimate sounds miles better, especially when you use Wi-Fi with lossless audio. Diamondboxx sounds like trash in comparison.
I use to like the deep bass on the PartyBoxs but after spending time w the punchy setting I prefer the punchy setting
I honestly agree, still hits deep too
@@Bretto26 I feel like punchy setting just makes it brighter in sound
jbl won by a long shot ngl
i think jbl takes this one for sure
Excellent, if you can, bring a video of Tribit vs Encore 50/70/100%
Could have a test at 80/100%
Excellent comparison friend, which version of your TRIBIT? And what EQ did you use on the Encore? If you can, bring more videos of them outdoors.
for the tribit, I just got it not long ago sp firm ware should be up to date. The encore was set to the first bass boost setting. Both were unplugged as well. I will try and get some outdoor videos as well.
@@Bretto26 Perfect friend, if you could update the equipment it would be cool, Tribit has a good Bass in version 3.5 and the best Partybox configuration is boost 1, because it maintains the quality
@@jhonnh.7012 can confirm everything was up to date in terms of firmware for both units in the video
