Blown tire + crash. Ran track in reverse near the end! League race at Monza Karting in Foxwoods!
This is a league race that took place back on June 13th. Timestamps are below to skip between the laps and the action! This race had two mandatory pit stops. Switched to reverse for the last few laps. The karts used are Sodi SR5s. League races at Monza Karting happen every Tuesday and are only open to members. The karts are weight balanced and normally can be switched out during a pitstop if you have a kart you aren't liking.
Fastest lap by anyone this session was 38.910. Lap 20 at 40.109 was my fastest lap.

I traveled out to Waterbury, CT to visit Brass City Raceway. After qualifying for the pro times, I was put on max speed for this race. Big props to their staff! Took the extra time to give me specific karts to try out to make sure I was able to put down some good laps. Just stumbled upon this video, nice run! I actually was just vacationing in CT and happened to run at supercharged and at Monza at Foxwoods. Managed a 44.163 at Foxwoods in the wild class (didn’t want to pay for the annual membership just for 3 sessions). Managed a 40.841 in Pro at Supercharged, was pretty happy to be 1 second off top 5 for the year at supercharged, especially given it was my first time at the track and I only did 3 runs. I plan to come back at some point next year and try to shave some more time off of my laps.

Was this just a average Thursday bunch of newbs? Or the league? Your flying man I never seem to get good times till like lap 3 1/2 once there’s heat in the tires. 77 is flying props. We got a dirt oval we rip at my buddy’s with older flat karts absolute blast always looking for parking lots or industrial complexes people don’t care it’s bunch of karts are ripping around. I kno a few but always looking for new spots. Do u have a kart?
Also I kno they advertise 45mph it’s more like half that. What do u think.

I was at supercharged last night and ended up 1.3 seconds off your record. Any tips you can give me, I feel like I took similar lines to you
On this track, you should be able to full throttle every single turn. Keep that gas pedal pressed the whole lap! It will be very hard to beat the 36.325 time now as the barrier on the top of the hill got extended about a foot out. That seems to have pushed everyone's times to the high 36s - low 37s now. A 36.833 has been the fastest I've ran since the change. So you aren't as far off as you think!

Would be cool to compare the SR5 gas kart and eMild too (if you want to sacrifice a session and torture yourself haha). The membership is easily worth it if you plan to do more than a couple sessions in a 12-month period. Access to gas/league is a huge bonus too
