Took me some time to find this version !!! My favourite
La Voz grande Frank Sinatra él cronner del Siglo 20
BELLISIMO TEMA, DEL INOLVIDABLE RICHARD RODGERS, CANTADO POR EL MEJOR, SINATRA.- INOLVIDABLE.-
Top
I was just listening to this, when I look more at the video and see the radio program is dated march 7th 1945. Coincidently I'm watching it march 7th 2024, making this recording 79 years old to the day! I bet Sinatra wouldn't of thought a 16 year old from Texas was listening to him 80 years later!
It’s my favorite song ❤
I know this channel looks long done posting, but thanks
I HAVEN'T HEARD THIS ONE WHAT THE HELL
the song's title is DID I REMEMBER
Wonderful!
Sinatra 33 years 1948. Good jazz
This is a very good version, but the 1980 version is devastatingly beautiful.
Bravo LA VOZ 👏 él más grande del siglo 20
It's really good hearing these classic Frank Sinatra radio broadcast from the golden age of radio.
More slow and boring in 47...
Kill the harp between songs. The music was better in 35 !
In her TV special, "Movin' With Nancy" there is a clip of Frank recording this song. It is an exceptional live performance, featuring Lee Hazelwood in the control room, Sinatra, with tie loose, cigarette in hand, and adoring daughter Nancy close by. It is the highlight of Nancy Sinatra's TV special, broadcast around 1966...
Ah yes, Frankie growing all the way. Actually, he was a bit off pitch a couple of times: if wonder if if it was just a bad recordinng.
👌excelente la VOZ 👏👏👏
I love this arrangement so much. There are others from Frank himself. But this touches me really deep.
Lo máximo
Believe it or not people were actually happier without cell phones and lap tops. No lie! Listen, they used to walk down the street looking where they were going! .. Really!!
But dumber.
First time hearing Sinatra sing "more and more" beautiful song.
Some of the new tunes for 1948 have fallen into obscurity. The "extras" have done much better.
the greatest singer ever
this version of the Sabre Dance is like if Ives composed it instead of Khachaturian
Thais is the best version of the music something
Definitely my favourite version
I love his live performance of this arrangement at the Royal Festival Hall in 1971.
This is one of my favorite sad songs. I cannot stop to cry every time I listened it...
My favorite version of this cover
in this episode, the orchestra plays the "first again with tobacco men" jingle 14 times and this is in addition to it being sung once and said 8 times

Sinatra at the top of his game. I Love this!
THE GAME IS OVER -- Why had I never heard of this Sinatra song? (Not many left to 'discover'!) Google and be taken to a John Denver RUclips video where a top comment says: 'I was searching for Frank Sinatra's version of "The Game is Over" which he recorded on November 2, 1970; when I found this. Sinatra released a statement when John passed away saying, "The world had lost the truest voice a song had ever known," I couldn't agree more. Thank-You so much for sharing.' Sure enough - recorded 50 years ago. Dont'cha love that envious, “wish-I-had-a-daughter-like-that!” expression on Yul (The King & I) Brynner's face -- as Nancy gives her Dad a squeeze! Thanks, Sinatra.audio for sharing. Celebrated this night at Sinatra Family -- Forum -- "Favorite Frank Sinatra Song of the Moment: sinatrafamily.com/forum/showthread.php/19118-Favorite-Frank-Sinatra-song-of-the-moment?p=1283427#post1283427
Perfection
Cant find this track on any album
Robert Ellam it’s on Movin with Nancy her Father is special guest on it singing this track hard to come by I managed to get a new one
My favorite sad song.
As heard on Saturdays at 9pm(et).
What a lovely version and different then the one that was the live video version; both lovely readings. No one can touch Frank for interpreting a lyric....
This version has good drums.
Frank in great form. His timing is perfect.
The music, the lyrics and the voice of Frank combine to make this song a truly fond memory for many of us who associate this song with a loved one or a time in our history. Enjoy!
Why is this version so hard to find? I'm saving this for sure. Truly a hidden gem.
Frank Sinatra Greatest Hits Vol.2
There's a Video of Frank recording Younger than springtime on u tube
Chris Vegas nothing like having your own copy though

He does a good job with this song I like it
This squeezes my heart in 2018, almost 2019!! Times sure have changed!! 'wish I could travel back in time...
