Civil Ian
Добавлен 27 дек 2014
Hello everyone! My name's Ian. I'm a 14 year old kid with a love for old culture, and especially music. I'm a huge fan of anything Jazz Fusion and Progressive Rock. I have a huge collection of CDs, DVDs, and Records that I plan to share on this channel, and hopefully I can introduce you to some new music that you may have otherwise never heard. Thanks everyone, and I hope you enjoy my channel!!! 🙂😎
Happy The Man - Such A Warm Breeze
As I'm sure many of you have noticed, a few months ago my full album post of "3rd Better Late" was taken down due to copyright. I wish not to conflict with the legal rulebook in terms of copyright ownership, so with any alerts I may receive that request my taking down of certain albums or song, I will happily comply. I would still love to see the music of Happy The Man promoted and shared through social media, so with the assumption that posting exclusive tracks will not violate any copyright interest, I would like to provide the Internet with the remaining songs from the album that are not yet posted.
Long live Happy The Man!!!

From their 1998 album, Destiny? I finally had the chance to see this band live. It exceeded my highest expectations.

Porcupine Tree - Heartattack In A Layby (Live 2002)

Recorded on November 12th, 2002 at XM Satellite Radio in Washington DC. Originally released on the live album "XM" in 2003 This has long been a favorite song of mine. It is one that carries a haunting quality that is hard to shake. It deals with a concept many can relate to, in a way that tells a story of its own. The idea of living and dying with regret, only accompanied by the intense atmosph...
Mystery - Dear Someone

Off of their 2012 album, The World Is A Game. Mystery has been a very important part of musical history for quite some time. I was introduced to them in 2014 at the age of 7 by my father. Along with Genesis and Marillion, I credit Mystery to be one of the reasons I got into Progressive Rock. Even at a young age I was astounded by this music. This is one of, if not my favorite track from the ban...

The relationship between music and imagery has fascinated me for a long while. There's something very powerful between the two that can influence the other. Music itself will always have the highest connection to me personally. With nearly every song I hear, I can visualize something to compliment the music. While nearly no imagery or writing in the real world have as much of an effect on me as...

Oblivion Sun - The First Show (Live 2006)
Found this one at the base exchange at Luke AFB Arizona in 1981. Took 1 listen and loved it. Did a lot of learning and "play along" on the bass. Now days, STILL my fav jazz rock album!
There was a 30+ performance which this video is a feature from. It was available long ago. Can't find it in this platform anymore. Anyway, this one is still a great opportunity to see RTF with the amazing Bill Connors.
Sounds like pictures islands in the vocal portions. I love this album
this is beeeautiful Ian 💛
Can just hear Phil Collin's vocals on some of these track's, oh man that would have been amazing 🥰
@@veganvocalist4782 Totally 😁

S O G O O O O O O O O D ! ! !
I used to bring John home from Patrick Moraz gigs at the baked potato Pasadena! We had a blast rip my friend ❤
first bill bruford recording i ever bought, the lp in the early 80s.
Casey Scheuerell rythm, at the beginning of Imaginary Voyage Pt 4 , is right on top of the best intro of the 70's jazz fusion tunes, just like Mike Clark at the beginning of Spank-A-Lee (Headhunters) : ruclips.net/video/8fIimwo42_c/видео.html
The first side of this is really excellent; its a hidden gem of an album
Came here looking for Rick Beato's old band. I assume that this is it? Hard to find because of that other band with a similar name dominates search engines.
@@BigFukNMike Yes this is the Beato band
Kevin Gilbert
Saw Mike Oldfield play there in 82'. Morris Pert and Pierre Moerlin on drums and percussion. They rotated positions. The most gear I've ever seen on a stage. Oldfield sells out stadiums in Europe but at this gig maybe 30 people. Similar turnout at the Ritz NYC sometime later when they played. Funny story. Around 2000 I took up the bass guitar. I found Percy's phone # in the White Pages and called him for lessons. He was living in Harlem. We had a nice brief talk. Thanks to Phil for turning me on to Brand X. The first 2 records are outstanding!
Jean- Luc, mon amour!!!!!!❤❤
super khan
This is some of the best shit ever made. Fact.
i need this album
Hey Ian , thank you , hope you , your pup and Pa are doing well , much love 🥰
ShameAllan's not mixed in a little louder
this is so unbelievably amazing, the guitar tone on Waves has an Alex Lifeson feel. And So to F is tremendous. I just discovered this band a week ago and it's all I have been listening to. Goodsall/ Jones/ Collins are just remarkable.
I've seen Jean Luc Ponty many times. Always great band mates! Adding Stephane Grapelli to the mix boists it to Classic Jazz!
Gratitud
Gracias ❤
For myself their debut is - together with Selling England.... and Floyd's Echoes - the absolute peak of Prog of all time.
Can't get enough of them. Every new discovery is highly welcome. Thanks a lot for every upload of their wonderful music.
superb -nothing less
Thanks for sharing. This is wonderful

It all started in 1978 for me, one late night listening to the radio in Dublin, NH. Nostalgic Lady came on next to my head and I have never been the same! I have loved this album and these musicians ever since. Even more deeply, Holdsworth's unique beautiful guitar voice moved me to the depths and I became a lifelong seeker of all music he has taken part in. Thank you ❤
