Hi Anindya......you will not get permission to go that portion of the lake as it is no man's land next to china border. Highly risky for any Indians. You may ask local army officers. Even weather also will be dangerous. You hv to come back by 11:30 a.m. at any cost. November 8 is a nice time. Weather will be excellent. You will get full clear crystal view. Visit places like katao, Yumesamdong, Silk route, Juluk etc. for info google silk route with zuluk

Check the comments properly sir, already given the first track info. The first track music is by Yanni from the album Tribute and track name is Nightingale. Temperature during October middle will be somewhere around 2 to 3 Degree. Cover each and every part of body except nose and eyes. Take some good snap and mail me......best of luck...

Thanks for the comments. Better go first week or second week of November u will get lots of snow and chilling weather. Take enough warm cloth and no alcohol in high altitude. By the way the music is by Yanni 1st part is from the album Tribute and track name is Nightingale. Second track name is "If I Could Tell You" from the album "If I Could Tell You". Nice track, google it and download and enjoy.

@drmvm35 Thanks for comments. I went on October and Temperature was around 2-3. Oxygen level is low there. keep in mind - No smoking, No run, No alcohol, No shouting, Taking small breathings, Have enough popcorn, Keep an inhaler, Keep medicines like Diamox 250. No problem for children if they are covered with enough warm clothes. They breath in small amount so don't worry have fun. Weather changes frequently so always ask army guys about forecasting. Spend some time in army camp. Enjoy...bye
