Sometimes it depends on breed. We have a Snowshoe and she doesn't like it when no humans are home. Fortunately it's rare she's alone even 4 hours. She's very human oriented.

I am obsessed with Devon Rex cats. Not only are they very smart and social, but they are so attached to their people that you sometimes forget they are cats. They are also very much velcro cats (although if their people are unavailable they will snuggle and play with each other until their humans return). I have had Devon Rexes for about 18 years now, and in all that time, unless I actively remove them from the bedroom and lock them out (which results in a lot of kitty cries, scratching at the door and paws under the door), I don't think I've spent a single moment in bed without at least one of these babies either tucked under the covers with me or cuddling against my face on my pillow. And since they are as loving toward each other as they are toward their humans, it is more frequent that you will have many cuddling with you at any given time (to a Devon's way of thinking, why would you have 3 cats spread across 3 human laps, when you can have 3 cats piled into a single human lap?). A few nights ago, I wasnt feeling very well, and the warmth of the cuddling (which is always just a little "too close" since they like to really bury their way into you) got to be a little much. So, rather than bother them, I tucked them up against my husband (who they also sleep cuddled with if I'm not yet in bed), and I went into our guest bedroom. It took them less than 5 minutes to figure out what I did, and track me into the other room, so they could get in their "rightful" cuddles. We went back and forth 3-4 times that night, until I eventually (with a ton of guilt) decided to close them out of the guest room. After quite a bit of commotion to make sure I knew whar a horrible cat-mom I was being, they left to go back into my bedroom and cuddle up with my husband. Because hey, he may not be "mommy", but he is still one of their humans :).

My sister has 2 American shorthair tabby cats. One is red and the other is grey. They both got along with a cute dog that was my parents dog. All 3 get along really good. The dog is a cute Bichon Frise. He is a small dog. He is getting old for his age. Even both cats get along really well. One cat is 4 years older than the other one. A few years ago that my parents gotten a black Labrador retriever from a friend of mine. They had a cute tuxedo cat. The cat attacked the dog in first meeting. They did get along. Even stayed out of each other’s hair. One time I was playing with the cat and he did cried. The dog let out 1 big bark at me for it. I wasn’t hurting the cat. I was just playing with him. It was kind of funny that the dog was protecting the cat.

My cat and I go in the fenced in backyard almost everyday. He loves it. Of course we live in Florida.

An AI channel. AI is mostly genius, but so geeky and doesn't have consciousness. It said pigeons live 30 years in the wild which is incorrect. About 3 years in the wild and maybe 6 years in captivity taking good care of it, but I haven't ever seen that observation nor done it yet for they're clever and will never accept being caught and held captive unless you can get a baby. If AI keeps making critical mistakes like that, then it's going to cause serious problems for it's going to be driving, flying, and every sort of white collar management job as well as knowledge worker jobs.
