why is the center speakers silent?

really love your channel - very usefull clips for testing my atmos setup ! i got one question. im looking for a demo clip for testing the transitions between base layer and height layer. can u build something like this ? i imagine 4 objects...playing some music for example: fronleft,fontright, surroundleft, sourroundright - and all 4 objects shifiting simultaneously, slowy upwards to the tfl, tfr, trl, trr - and downwards. like a layer of sound shifting up and down. maybe also forward and backward. this would be very interesting. very thankful, kind regards yofomi.

@objectdemo3052 do you listen real true objects around? I’m asking because I have a 9.2.6 inch listen the panning and phantom objects between speakers, but I never listen objects around my head only sound near my ears, great channel! I’m a subscriber!

sounded great upmixed to DTS Neural:X on a 5.2.4 but I could not get Atmos track to run. The sound locatzation test 2.ddp file did run in Atmos. Not sure what i did wrong.

Great demo - thanks! While i could get the Sound Localization Test 2 to run in Atmos on my 5.2.4, i could not get this demo to do so - just 5.1ch. It sounded great upmixed however to DTS Neural:X

For the subject matter and for this being a modern film mix, it amazes me how inconsistent the use of the immersive platform was. It's so often just a simple 7.1.2 bed mix.

There is a European 4k Blu-ray of "Devotion" that includes the lossless Dolby Atmos track that was left off the Paramount disc release.

I notice they did not encode Top Middle speakers for the TrueHD lossless version. It goes to show that the button pushers don't always know how to use the Atmos Production tools.

Could you please do a demo of Jupiter Ascending. Specifically 25 minutes in when they fight over Chicago at night. That is the most active Atmos scene I have ever heard and I'm curious as to how the objects look.
