To be 100% honest, it's been really hard for me to find the time to work on this! I want to do it and still do a bit from time to time but between life, my hands health and having a very slow PC, it just consumes too much time for me to consistently work on it unfortunately since I don't usually have free time for this. Once I get to move I'll be able to get faster but idk when that will be so for now I'll keep going at a snail pace, sorry!!

I thought I answered this!! My bad, sorry, I just saw it again while answering other stuff! If I remember correctly it's mostly base BSL shaders with some stuff deactivated for better performance in my potato PC (mostly reflections and clouds). I should still have this world saved in my PC so I'll check it tomorrow and see if I can drop the file for the settings somewhere!

oh wait, my bad I read this completely wrong lol I've seen it and it might be an item like a wall camouflaged between turfs. I wanted to try it but I havent been able to play much recently bc I got a little burn out waiting for loads and low fps since my pc its pretty bad. Sometimes turfs are allowed to be placed on top of things, so unfortunately its a matter of trying different items until one is thin enough to be camouflaged within the turf itself (and mixing it with this method as well)

@@AliceBijiou this is interesting! I've never thought they can do that in the game considering how limited the controls are in placement mode. this makes additional floors inside the manor. unfortunately my translator is kinda messed up so i guess I'll try to figure it out using the given picture.

@@AliceBijiou it's ok. actually you made me enlighten more on designing inside the manor. I tried to take one step at a time and I just started the exterior part of the heidel manor. for now just curious on how to trick the limited space to make another floor.

@@SamuKhan-e9w I'll probably log in some time soon to check for christmast stuff and mess around with it! I know I've tried a couple stuff in the past. As for the 2nd floor, someone did it in japan, I'm assuming they use a mix of the "harder" method (or "wrong" that i show in this video)so anything that you put below the cushion disappears and you can only see the cushion "floating". If you have any question just lmk, I havent been playing for a while but I'm always happy to see housing in BDO!

No worries! Yeah, seems like it was kept hidden for a while but luckily I was able to recreate it. Have you tried the 2nd method shown? (around 4:14 ). I remember trying with curtains but idk if it works well with items that "have a 2nd step" (dont really know how to say it lol) when positioning such as chandeliers (let you move up and down) and curtains (also let you move it up and down and to the side). I would assume it would work for stuff like paintings but haven't got around to try that one yet

Forgot to mention this in the video (had the feeling) but the reason i think the carpet works, it's likely because it's programmed in a way where it can ignore stuff and always let you put stuff above it (unlike a table, for example, since it wont let you if its too much on an edge). Since wall stuff is not tied to the floor, I don't think it applies for it or it might need another item to hover over (maybe a curtain, but I know I tried this and it didn't work really but I could have done something wrong)

Ahhhhh I just remembered something!! If the stuff I mentioned doesn't work, I know a way it should almost certainly work. When I was first looking for this, I found out the 2nd step works but I was only half-way there. In the video, I mention a bit after 7:33 that "this would technically work to overlap but it's overcomplicated" and this will should stay true for wall items if it works in the same way. I will make a video for you tomorrow but I'll try explaining in text for now: (rn my bf is sleeping and I can't record by myself) I'm gonna be using Item A, Item B and Placeholder as examples. (Again, this is the 2nd method for overlapping explained in 4:14 but without the final step so you'll still need a placeholder item to remove) 1. Place Item A on the place you want it to be. 2. Grab Item A again, move it wherever (doesn't matter but it should be away from where you want Item B) and let it there with Placeholder 3. DO NOT re-place Item A (This way it'll reset it's position to the original one from Step 1) 4. Place Item B on the place you want it to be. Since Item A is technically not there anymore at this current time, it won't mark Item B as red and you should be able to place it normally. 5. Leave the house and re-enter (leave the garden in the case of mannors). 6. Item A should have reset it's position and should now be overlapped with Item B. I recommend using another item as a guide (maybe placed it further up or down) as you would be placing Item B kind of blindly and the grid the game provides its basically transparent....

I'd need to check how to port it to PE since I don't own that version myself and don't own the ways to buy it atm so it'll take a bit b/c I'm not sure if it'll need any resizing of stuff

@@ninizpkn I still have yet to check MCPE, is there a specific version people use or just the latesst update? do they release updates as often as for example, java edition? That way I know which version I should focus for MCPE since I'm starting to have some free time and wanna work on this again ^^ otherwise I'll probably go with latest version or whichever is documented best!

Thank you very much! This is played on ps3 emulator (rpcs3) so loading its way faster and fps aren't a problem.

(I don't actually know, but my bf says so)) anyway, enough of me ranting, sorry for that) subscribed to your channel!)

@@Нана-о9ч you can check your specs with the program CPU Z. What CPU do you have? RPCS3 asks for a lot of it so I'm guessing it's either that or RAM. By the way, if you have any answer, feel free to enter to the drakengard/nier discord. A lot of people will be glad to help you with that!
