To be honest. I have tried 0.7.987 patch only. And decided to not update my version further due to changing game mechanisms such as fish pond and salt will not spawned on old saves. In other hand. Food spoilage are active. I believe the update will break up my current season.

There are a two ways. Legally. - mutation on official servers. Max cap 450 - boosted servers. The server I was play on had 450 max wild Dino cap. So easy to tame ptros with lv 450

Also the bosses will focus on the biggest Dino in the arena so I recommend getting on a yuty.

I like play ark. It has different experience. Played it sance 2015. Watch videos about the game. If it is your play style then go ahead and plan spand 3 - 4 hours daily
