My name is Frank Hsu, a self taught musician. I started learning when I was around 20 years old. Now 30+ years later, my passion for music is still stronger than ever!
I love singing and playing the keyboards, I love music and sound design so much! Music to me is a never ending learning pleasure; though many challenges and time-consuming practices, it brings so much enjoyment and it enhances my life tremendously.
This channel is like a musical journal for me (and my son), my interpretations playing some of the songs that I love. Hope they bring joy to you as well.

A Little Respect - Erasure cover by Frank Hsu
I love 80s music! “A Little Respect" is the biggest hit from British synth-pop duo Erasure, released in 1988.
For this cover I try to perform as a duet by myself. Everything is performed live, no pre-recorded tracks using sequencer. The main rhythm and lead vocals were recorded first, then the second player was recorded later and overdubbed to the first recording.
A really cool experience! I’ll be doing more of this method in the future.

This is Jeremy’s first real improvisation on alto saxophone. He’s trying to join his high school Jazz band, and this is his first assignment. Every week the band director will provide a Jazz standard piece and the students have to come up with their own instrumental solo.
