Batman is gonna get an upgrade in the sequel to wear the cowl his more bat-like and once piece attached to the cape. The suit is less armored due to the armor being inside now. The suit is less functional due to increase flexibility and durability. So the suit looks like his comic book suit.

Unlike the comics where the suit is a simple red and blue unitard, Tobey Maguire's suit boasted a raised webbing design. This added detail that made the costume pop and feel real. Furthermore, the almost metallic lenses on the mask gave off a serious vibe, contrasting Spider-Man's lighthearted demeanor.

Wish they kept that deleted scene, but that also would’ve implied X-Men was just a movie in the Raimi films, and I still like to head canon all the early 2000’s Marvel films take place in the same universe

From neck down is awesome, but the cowl is awful looking. Too big of a forhead and those bat ears are way back on the cowl. Should`ve made it a bit higher, the cowl I reffer to, and it would`ve looked better.

The only thing i dislike about this suit is how skinny the bat ears are, everything else is spot on

The helmet was the worst thing about the costume, it made the Green Goblin look like a Power Rangers villain and it restricted Willem Dafoe's terrifying scary expressions and psychotic performances.

I love that the looks of the design got that classic features in a very super realistic and grounded way. I also love that the design and amazing details was inspired by both the comics and a little bit of Adam West. Pretty much if Batman really existed in real life, that's exactly how he would look🦇

Honestly the goblins comic book costume is completely unadaptable, the raimi suit is honestly the best the goblin has ever looked imo

Batman Begins (2005) and Superman Returns (2006) should’ve started the DCEU. Both movies looked like they were set in the same universe! Christian Bale and Brandon Routh were the perfect age to start a franchise for the next 2 decades. 🦇

I’m glad they didn’t go with the black lenses and the more modern look where the mask is basically a helmet that opens.

I’m glad they made the head a mask instead of Willem’s actual head, since it would be perfect for Norman to look normal and not obviously be the Green Goblin.
