Here’s a response from a college pitcher currently playing at the NAIA level. 1. You will likely get an academic scholarship of some kind anywhere. Athletic scholarships depend on what school you attend and what level you play at. Public schools tend to offer more in scholarships than private schools. Scholarships are offered at all levels except at the D3 level. There are no athletic scholarships at NCAA Division 3. 2. Nowadays, anyone can enter the transfer portal. But eligibility rules for the next season following a transfer depends on the athletic conference. Also, don’t be fooled by the narrative that D2/D3 is better than NAIA skill-wise. Most NAIA programs compete around the D2/D3 levels. Some of the top NAIA baseball programs are arguably D1 level (like Southeastern and Lewis-Clark State).

I am at a NAIA not NCAA so there is no division but it’s on par with D3 and D2 schools

Guidance from coaches is provided concisely and with the expectation that players absorb it thoroughly upon delivery. It is understood that this guidance represents a pivotal and final opportunity for instruction. Additionally, if a player falters, coaches will issue a singular warning, encouraging players to take ownership of rectifying their mistakes. This approach emphasizes personal responsibility and growth, framing it as self-driven motivation rather than external pressure from the coaching staff, this is all in my oppinion so take it lightly.
