    I've never seen a better 80:20 minimalistic but perfect solution on an RTT like that. Kudos from Germany for that build!

    I think it is better with the hard sides. No sewing. Was my main concern.

    What kind of aluminum did you use for the roof unit? Did you use tig or spoolgun? cheers

      I used 1x4 and 1x3 rectangular tubing, Tig welded.

    Love how low profile that folds down!. I'm looking to build something similar for a first gen Tacoma. I'm hoping to make mine a bolt on shell vs a slide in like yours but seems doable. The hard sides is on my must-have. Really motivating to see you got it done!
