Finally got something other than a raccoon!
Excited to see new videos! Ill check out his channel
Thank you!
Add daughter to the end of the name
That’s a great idea.
Where is this located
Southern Indiana
That beaver sausage looked so awesome I could almost smell them through the "air waves" 😋
It was pretty amazing!!!
Good job I’m on a beaver job right now we don’t have many muskrats here in southwest Arkansas
We’ve got quite a few here. Just have to find them.
You really have some great helpers out there on the Trap line. I think you should make a few more Mink sets that really looks like a Minky location. I use the no BS Trap setters for the larger size they really are great they’re not cheap, but you will definitely find them extremely useful.
Mink season is over. We have until March 15 and trapping season is done. Then we will be posting some fishing videos.
Nice to see you catch some otters. Good release too
The bobcats are protected here in Indiana right now. We have no choice but to release them.
No season at all for you? Too bad
Nice otter catch. Nice looking cat for a kitty.
@@Eddie-sy9nqthey’re trying to pass a bill to make a season on them. But as of right now we have no season for them.
@@georgepotter5101it was definitely a beautiful cat.
Great job yall!!!
Thank you!!!
My dad watches your videos. He’s subscribed to your channel. He really likes your videos!
Really love both of y’all’s dedacation on your trap line I’ll all ways will be watching I also have a trapping channel Trapping The Ouachita Hill Country I’m 72 years old but will trap to my dieing days😂 good luck
@@garywhisenhunt thank you! My dad watches your videos. He records every time they go out and I put them on here. I go with them from time to time. We have a skunk video coming.
That otter footage was great!
Thanks!!!! Trying to get them but they keep outsmarting us.
Thats why i use rebar drowning rods now when conditions allow. Beavers are definitely work, but like you said, fun getting them!
Your partner and you are having some good catches, tearing up the rats. That was a great otter in the crossover. Good idea with the colony trap on the bottom edge…I have caught a mink and a fish before but I think that duck and a mink doesn’t happen very often lol… Keep the videos coming.
The mink and duck was definitely a first. Lol
Nice catch
Thanks!!!
People saying you drowning cable wasn't tight enough. I caught a beaver that did the same thing and my cable was definitely tight. Ive had them not go down the downing cable as well. If you've trapped enough, you'll know strange things can happen on the trap line. Great catches. New subscriber.
Thanks for subscribing!!!! And you’re absolutely right. You never know what you’re going to come across on the line.
New sub. Look chasing the beavers my friend
Welcome to the channel
When you threw your weight out it didn’t make your cable tight.
That’s probably what happened. Definitely a lesson learned.
Awesome video and huge kudos to your partner. Not many men can find a one like that, I've been looking for one over 20yrs. They all complain it's too cold or it's mean and cruel, but never complain when it's time to belly up to dinner table. Haha That's when I tell them no work helping no eating after the first meal. 😅 Have a question though where did you get those setters? I have gone through 2 of them in the last yr on my #330's the hook ends keep bending out, and they are not long enough so have had to add extensions
Got the setters from F&T trapping supply
Thank you
When you put the weight out your line was twisted
That could have been.
Good big beaver it is hard work but more fun than catching coyotes I think
@@garywhisenhunt me too.
@@SammiApplegate I use 10 foot 1/8 cable with halve a brick it’s always tight most of the time bus usually it’s deep enough t t drown never had issues with a cable also I don’t use the big ts-85 I use Duke 650s the always hold most of the its front foot catch i really think it’s a very good beaver trail I have 6 set up on drowning cables then I have 36 for coyotes bobcats
@@garywhisenhunt wow! We don’t put out that many. Not even close. Lol
Looking forward to check day. I think you should definitely set a couple Mink traps in that stream that you pointed out. Maybe if you catch a muskrat you can use the Muskrat as bait on a rock set. To catch the mink I also think you got a couple educated beavers there, and once you get a little bit of ice, I bet you’ll find exactly where that den entrance is. Also, if you miss or don’t catch that beaver in that foothold, try setting it a few inches deeper you’ll be surprised with the results Good luck on the line.
We have caught some muskrats and a mink. Not at this spot though. I have a few more videos to get edited and posted.
Congrats on that monster beaver 69lbs is a dandy! Enjoyed your trap line adventure.
Thanks 👍 He was definitely a big one!
enjoyed the video! Happy trapping!
Thank you!!
Enjoy your videos thanks for posting them… A couple nice beavers, maybe you’ll get an otter soon looking forward to the lake/boat trapping trip.
Going to start the boat trapping Monday. We will definitely be setting some otter traps then.
It’s on my hand lol too funny, you need to keep making trapping videos…
We'll keep make the videos as long as we're able to do the trapping!!!
That’s a good looking set hopefully you catch em.
Sure enjoyed your video. You are blessed to have yourself a trapping partner like you have. Keep the videos coming please. Can you do a beaver butcher and cook video? Sure appreciate you posting this.
We can definitely do a beaver butcher video. As far as cooking, we just put it in the crockpot like a beef roast. I’ll have a butcher video when we get the next one!!!
Thank you!
@@Eddie-sy9nq you're welcome
I use little piece of 2x6 for my hard to set traps I'm 63 it help make a flat surface keeps the out of the mud
That’s a good suggestion. Thanks!
Great video people
Thank you sir!!!!
