okay so! I couldn’t find the original creator for this, but the name it was under when I stumbled across this audio again after MANY years was @Captain_Marlowe , if it’s their account that created this phenomenal audio, then I lost track and completely just didn’t know if I wanted to scroll down their account forever until I could find it. nonetheless! if anyone knows who made this sound, and what it’s actually called, comment it fs :D

This right here is the definition of bitter-sweet. Didn't know this fandom was still alive. I discovered Falsettos about a year ago, so I never got to live the fandom shared experience of crying on the floor in agony as Christian Borle and Andrew Rannells sang "What Would I Do?". Beautiful art, by the way.

I wished I knew irl people who loved this musical as much as I do, but as you can see thanks to my profile name, I'm not from any English-speaking country, let alone have any contact with the musical theater fandom outside RUclips and Pinterest. That's what strict parents will do to you, ig. So for now, I'm satisfied with info-dumping my rather confused and definitely not theater kids friends and trying to convince them to watch the pro shot with Spanish subtitles with me again.

Honestly I got two of my friends to watch falsettos despite not being theater kids, and one even went on to find other irl people who enjoy it and now we all have a chat on messages! Don't give up, even if social media doesn't come into play completely :D this musical is an amazing experience and it should definitely receive more love for the time and effort put into it over decades! I'm glad that you have people to hyperfixate to, as well :DD that's always super nice when you find others who are willing to try something new (and possibly cry)

I do think I'm in the right path, 'cause I got one of my best friends to watch Ride The Cyclone and another one to watch Be More Chill and Heathers just a couple of weeks ago, so I think they are slowly giving up and they'll allow me to show them whatever new musical I get into.
