Hi. I am sorry, but you said something that i did not realy understand. You said that if someone wants a big improvement he will nedd only few daya points and the opposite id for a small improvement he will need a lot of daya points. Intuitively for me is the opposite from ehay you said, which means if i want a big improvment i will need a lot of data points. I would very appricate if you can explain this concept for me.

I found this to be an interesting topic, as I also enjoy looking for ways to improve efficiency. Though my application of said improvements can be tough, especially under stress. You have given me a few ideas on how to present some of my suggestions to the boss and others. The questions, "What processes are the best (blank) using?" and "How can we standardize that process across all (blank)...?" got me to thinking, not on what to say, but how to say it for application. People are resistant to change, and most will respond positively in one way or another (at least, the teachable ones) when the proof is there, but there will always be some who will fight it until they retire/quit/transfer. Showing data to show results; it is what upper management wants, I just need to figure out a way to get it (with the approval of my boss). Thanks for going over this DMAIC case! 🐺🔧
