Elevation can mess up the pathing AI on envoys from AI empires so thats important to keep in mind
I’ve found trying to expand your kingdom into towns kinda comes with cost. In my recent build (creative but, regular might still apply), my peasants continually baffle me with how they consistently starve in odd intervals. I tried making Horse carts that stop at Stockpiles, granary’s, Produce storage, fishmongers and butchers, and have them drop off the goods nearest to the starving areas markets. Yet they still starve even when the Markets are stocked up. I think it may have to do with the Marketers going by themselves to collect the food and charcoal at great distances, and thus there’s no one for the Heads of Household to buy the stuff from? Thats my best guess. It’s a really strange behavior but I think the peasant AI is just going a really long way to try and resolve its job, but in the most obtuse way possible.
Yeah even if it's stocked they may not go I think due to a set number only allowed to take from the buildings but they are weird when it also comes to construction
If memory serves me right there's a church that helps heal your dead troops
I think you mean the hospital but yeah
Wolves can help kill the enemy. Take one guy to face the enemy troops. When the enemy starts chasing him slowly go towards a wolf den that's near your base and boom they help when in range.
Yeah I thought about baiting more often but I decide to not do it for some reason lol
Hold ALT to see HP bars, you can see enemies in the forest then

Why are you not using cemetery? It helps a lot for the wanderers
If I remember right it was possibly due to resources or people which most likely was people since I was scrambling to get something of a force and allocate my resources properly

New player of Kingdoms and Castles here. On PS5 sadly, but I would looove to have had elevated land available to build my cities towns and hamlets around and on. Though I’m still having a lot of fun. This mod looks like it’s a unique challenge to adapt to.
Rip but it's a great mod adding challenges and allowing you to be more creative love every moment until you hit the lag
I think those random attacks only happen in hard difficulties.
Maybe I never played the easy game mode I went straight to medium lol

Hey dude, i know im late but how do you make a kingdom last? I never have enough people, and if i live long enough to get 100 people i just get the plague BAD. But i can never get tools to make more food types. Any tips for how you get your kingdom self sufficient early on?
The answer is a big one since there's so many small things that helps finish the rest of the puzzle I do plan on making updated videos to answer your questions like a updated beginners guide

Sadly I am still trying to plan a decent schedule to stream due to my internship however right now it's looking like it's going to be around 8pm but I may also make an effort to stream possibly full day on the weekends to make up for the lack of streaming throughout the week

Right now there is a good amount of issues that can ruin a good run if you don't know what they are however they mentioned a big update to the game which is to rework a lot of things and fix many of the problems while also adding new terrain and other features so it's up to you I do enjoy the game myself and wouldn't be bad to learn some of the mechanics before the big update in the future

Dont worry once I get into the full swing of things I plan on doing them weekly again sadly the modding community has sorta stopped so I am not sure what mods to use that still work lol
