eally bad customer support, took over two weeks to ship,nearly a month to come from a asian port, had to contact to find out what was going on, but this is the only time they responded, got dark green, is more of an emerald green, want to return, so have emailed them twice over the last two weeks, no response, called and just get a machine, still no response, new ones don't come with a brim on them which is what you see in the ad's and one of the most popular features. Beware.

I ordered, never gotten a confirmation email. No order number, but they were sure quick to process my payment. They don't answer emails, or texts, ive been told calling is a waste of time. I think I've been ripped off.

I ordered from Amazon the ReFire Gear Men's Warm Military Tactical Sport Fleece Hoodie Jacket for half the price BAERSkin and it arrived in two days. It is as good as the BAERSkin or appears to be.

After waiting nearly a month for 4.0 hoodie to finally arrive, I cancelled all the annoying marketing emails and texts, so I'm feeling a little better now about the purchase. I'm actually quite pleased with the quality of the 4.0 hoodie. I'm 6-1 210lbs. I ordered the Large. It fits loose enough to wear a couple layers underneath. It cuts the wind nicely. I like all the pockets but do lose things and if you put too many items in your pockets the jacket gets heavy and bulky. I bought on the forever sale deal at $99. NO ONE should ever pay $300 for this jacket. I've a couple nice fleece zipper jackets from Columbia which cost about $80 at the time (a couple years ago). This 4.0 hoodie fleece is heavier and cuts the wind better. So my overall review is that it fits well. I like the pockets and it seems of a quality build. If you can wait the nearly month or more to get your order, then it's probably worth it. Lucky for me it fit and I have had no problems so I haven't had to deal with customer support. Would I order another one or some other product from Bearskin? Probably not! But I do like the jacket I received.

However, your defence of despicable customer exploitation is infuriating and devalues your channel and advice. It does not take more than a month to receive a refund / exchange for defective goods because of the digital ether and banking systems and understandable delays. It is because this company is a Chinese clothing manufacturer using RUclips to promote direct to the consumer bypassing international legal norms selling poor quality goods by appealing to a Western ideal of male machismo. They do not offer repairs and refunds because they have no intention to do so knowing that western buyers essentially have no rights or legal recourse when buying these goods direct! As a western customer we have no legal recourse to prevent buyer exploitation by Chinese manufacturers who do not respect or recognise the legitimacy of our laws - simple as that. As a UK consumer I have purchased clothing from many international brands who do stand by their quality and reputation and issue refunds within days! In fact any delay I have experienced is usually due to a delay in processing due to poor staffing levels within the refunds department - many of the brands actually manufacture in China (for the record am not anti Chinese products) I am anti customer exploitation. I am also anti buying poorly made products that are usually exploitative to the people actually making them. I am also anti “influencers” like your self who are essentially supporting an exploitative business for personal gain regardless of which country that business resides in.

Everything was cool until you mentioned... China. And then... I completely lost interest in looking at this product anymore. Thank you for your own honesty, and no thanks to Baerskin for using China to make it.

I would have purchased one but the only men and women models used in their commercials are young and fit as a fiddle. What about us older folks that are thicker and get around with the good ol bread basket? The waist areas of these hoodies are pretty lean....just saying.

For several weeks all I've been getting in my email were ads on how great the 4.0 jacket and the rain jacket is... and that huge discount you're getting if you order now. So much so, I was high on wanting to rush ahead and place my order. But I forced myself to wait at least until Black Friday hoping I might get an additional discount. Black Friday is here and now I'm ready to place my order. But then I thought maybe look for any reviews that might be available... RUclips usually the first place to goto. I spent over two hours watching RUclips's videos of Baerskin Jackets and the Rain Jacket and based on all those reviews, I was now ready to place my order feeling good about what I was about to do. Just when I was about to close the RUclips website, I happened to see your video and noticed the title of the video was different... opposite of all the othervideos I've already seen. I had to hear what you had to say. From just your one video, I've now managed to hold-on to my horses. I've decided to just wait and not rush. I'm now not sure to order or just forget about it. I appreciate your video and is happy I got to see it before my jumping off the cliff. Thank You for sharing your thoughts.

They need to improve customer service. They don’t respond to chats, don’t answer their phone and still waiting on response to my two emails to customer service. I haven’t gotten a tracking number and it’s been 17 days. I get multiple emails a day trying to get me to order more items so I’ve mistakenly deleted my confirmation of order email (although the charge is on my credit card). I’m giving them two more weeks and then I’m reversing the charge on my card (if I haven’t heard back from customer service by then). I’ve dealt with small businesses many times before and there’s no excuse with this level of non response from customer service.

ordered a 3-1 waterproof jacket and fleece hoodie from them. Said delivered but never was. called customer service many times throughout weeks never heard from them. They haven't done anything to resolve this and no one answers. Very disappointed with them.

Yeah, I definitely appreciate your insight into this because, after my impulsive decision to buy the 4.0 hoodie and the lack of location info has definitely made me anxious so I did as much research as I can and seen how many people were having issues. I get there a small company but damn fix the tracking info, we want to know where it’s coming from, what state or whatever it’s in at all times. Instead all I have is for example, “ arrival at destination airport” like wtf is that gonna do to ease our minds. But anyways thanks for making this video! I still hope that my purchase was worth it. It’s only been five days to be fair, just hope I didn’t f up.

The only time any layer is the "only one you need" is if you only plan on being pretty much standing around in the outdoors for less than an hour. Or you are in one of the polar regions in winter.

Its extreemely important to make sure you have ample power in the woods.

I’ve been happy af with my green 2.0. Would recommend. However, it’s an XXL and I’ve gone from over 300lbs to over 200. Your October ‘23 sealed the deal for a 3.0. Even chose the tan. All your concerns (biiiig hood, baggie arms, and cuff thickness. No zipper issues though) seemed to be addressed. And the fact that it has been cut a little slimmer means I may put the new tan one underneath the green for added style! 😂 Thanks for voicing my own thoughts on the perpetual sale and, as as a young Boomer, I’m used to mail taking a while and refunds taking a month. Your explanation of how the real world works, for the younger gens only used to “Valkyrie” prime, was a little bit of fresh air.

so i've never been backpacking myself personally but i'd love to go one day. specifically in the winter time in one of those makeshift campers i see all the time on youtube. seems like a lot of fun and definitely a bucket list thing for me.
