Sucha great show!!! We need 10 more seasons

Not much of a battle as much as an ass kicking... That being said I can't believe they haven't brought this back...There are books of the story left! Then the side novels they could do off season and RAKE in the money. If they take too long many will have lost interest. Strike while the fire is hot.

Funny thing is that on Earth is common to mark own forces in blue color and enemy on red. But because they are from Mars (Red Planet) they do opposite. Mark own forces red and enemy blue.

Without artificial gravity there's no really quick maneuvering possible for manned ships carrying large crews. At the closing speeds the attacking ships were moving the Donager should only have needed to spew out a cloud of projectiles into the path of the enemy ships, with plenty of extra aimed off axis so if the ships tried to avoid what was coming straight for them they'd maneuver right into more projectiles. A big problem with space battled with kinetic weaponry is all those projectiles and broken bits of damaged and exploded ships and missiles would be a fairly permanent navigation hazard that would move all around the Sun. This one battle would have placed many thousands of dangerous little pieces of high speed metal into a snarled yarn ball of solar orbits. Some might eventually impact planets, moons, or asteroids but a lot would orbit forever, biding their time until an unlucky spacecraft crosses the orbit of one at exactly the wrong time. *BANG* What was that? The navigation hazard database says it's most likely a PDC round from the final battle of the MCRN Donager. I hope it's stuck in the ship where it can be dug out, battle relic collectors pay good money for crap like that. Might even be enough to fix the damage it did to my ship.

Wow, you really have to learn to turn down the volume on the background music. I watched that series and at all times, I was able to hear and understand what was said in the movie, but not in this video clip. I put a zero rating for this clip.

Shed Garvey is pretty foolish. I mean, I've watched this scene perhaps a dozen times, and each time he says that they should get strapped in he straps himself where the railgun round goes. I mean, sure, the first time he would have known, but after that you'd think he'd pick a different seat, huh?

To be fair, despite all the advantages the stealth ships had, the Donnager beat them with 5-to-1 odds against, 4 in pure combat, and the last in a pyrrhic act. On the balance, the aggressors lost more, though it was a symbolic defeat for Mars.

One of the nicest easter eggs in this scene was when they are about to self destruct, there's a warning image that pops up about the self destruct sequence which is basically a direct copy of the Nostromo's self destruct warning in Alien, when Ripley opens the floor panel to turn off the reactor cooling system. The font and the colors are almost perfect matches.

The Martian XO was far less arrogant than the captain, and alert enough to catch Holden's intel during the engagement.

I know people struggled to get into the first season. But once you made it here, the show had one sets of hooks in you. The other came at the very end of the season.

Those stealth ships and their crew were basically corporate mercenaries... it's really strange how they can come up with hardware that can challenge the Martian Navy.

Amazing show, best sci fi in years if not ever. Like that they changed the CGI after season 1, still great but a bit blue and lens flarey here, much clearer in later seasons
