@@t1d_bikeguy420 I really dig the my Q5s. If I had these back on at my Laguna Seca track day, I would have e been able to drop my lap times to put me firmly in the middle of the A group times on my pig FZ1.

Great Recording, I love RT 28. When I'm on 2 wheels I ride much too fast to enjoy the creeks, mountains, small towns, parks, drop offs, and waterfalls that make RT. 28 my favorite riding road.
Fairing shaking is really annoying.. Otherwise it was fun!

My favorite ride. If you spot a gray BMW R1150 RT with just a tail bag and the rider in Black/Red Dainese leathers this weekend or any weekend between now and December, that will be me.

Los Gatos or Warthan canyon? I think Los Gatos, HYWY 198. Rode that road on my 1984 GPz750 turbo. But it has been awhile.
Yes, 198 west out of Coalinga. Then 25 North.

Where was this? If you remove the wide roads, guard rails and paint lines, it could very well be some of the mountain roads I rode in Germany & Italy.

Suspension and a flash. It is up on a table and I will be adding the slipper clutch this winter.
Oh and these paint lines are way slicker than those in NorCal.

When I moved, I was sure to locate close to fun roads. I like that in that whole video, I only had 1 vehicle to pass and zero LEOs.

Looks like an amazing ride. I need to take a trip to some twisty roads. Illinois is flat and straight like Florida. I really want to trade in the 2007 FZ1 on a BMW S1000R, but I’d like to see it get the update like the S1000RR first.

Thanks. I’m still in exploration mode. The NC roads seem to have a better flow than SC roads. Lots of decreasing radius turns here in SC.
