Hi! Welcome to the diaries on the life of a 25-year-old MBA student at Chicago Booth (ex-tech risk consultant/accountant), who loves to film, make music, play sports, cook… etc.
Treat this as my video journal where I document my life ranging from vlogs, to cinematic videos, to sit-down food for thoughts on topics around travel, career/school, food, music, and film. I'm on the search to find what it is I really want to do in life. So, here we are, adding one more project to the million things I’m working on.
I hope you stick to the Status Kuo and stay a while :)

Flying Premium Class on a Budget Airline From London to New York. WORTH IT?
Was the upgrade worth it? Was flying a budget airline worth it? What's the space like? What are the seats like? How's the food? What about the service? In this video, I'll answer all your questions about flying Norse Atlantic Air! I've never done reviews on this channel before but thought this was cool to document.

In this video I talk about the different recruiting timelines people commonly pursue during their MBA: Investment Banking (IB), Consulting, PE/VC, Tech, Corporate, Investment Management (IM). I place a more specific on tech recruiting as that is my career path. I discussed when and what I did to get my internship and briefly discussed my experience at Adobe. Do you know the difference between a...

I Flew 6200 Miles To Surprise My Friend
So, this one time I flew premium economy international and the headphone jacks in the seats were those old 2 prong ones but the seats in regular @$$ economy had standard ones. So I could not use my NC Headphones for the TV cause I didn’t have the adapter thing. There is no point to this comment, I’m just saying 😂
😂😂😂

Obviously CPA exam has been a pain in my ass that won't bother me any longer I have gotten my license already thanks to you Mr Dylan God bless you more cuz you made it possible for me
Am sorry for that some people also go through difficulties, just be patient and keep studying
People keep talking about Dylan all over RUclips,he must be a very awesome help.
Yes you're correct but remember heaven helps those who help themselves, try studying if you can't study then get yourself a good help
I studied for months and couldn't pass, I guess passing is a blessing
CPA exam might seem so tough to pass but studying very hard is a very vital skill to win trust me.
I looove your editing skills <3
thank you!!
Hiee... hope you are doing great! Please recommend if we should make notes with the lectures or just listen and understand while Becker lecture is going on?
Becker lectures tell you what to underline, circle, and write in textbooks. Just follow along!!
as a tech risk consultant, which chapters of cybersecurity is of utmost importance from job point of view
It’s more about learning on the job and it’s a lot of understanding of change management systems, managing IT Ops, managing access… etc
Good honest review ❤❤❤❤
When you say Cram .. Just knowing the concept fully, crystal clear will not work ????? ??? Please help
cram as in memorizing a lot in a short time!
You are living my dream ❤

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS
UR SO WELCOME!!!
Video summary/my notes: 🗒️ passed first try, worked full time. All friends passed first time. ⭐️ figure out what sections you want to take in order. ⭐️ 1. Audit 2. Reg 3. FAR 4. BEC ⭐️ BEC is easiest. ⭐️ audit is second to last esisest. ⭐️ Far is hardest then Reg. Reg has taxes. ⭐️ used Becker as well as all her friends. They all loved it. Study the modules and the practice questions. ⭐️ studied for 3 weeks before each test. MCQs and the simulations. The weekend before the mock exams. ⭐️ do lecture, then MCQs, skip simulation, do this for every module, at the very end, go back and do all the simulations as a review for the mock exam.
Wow. GOATED summary 🔥 one note i would add that’s not mentioned in the video is that the CPA has changed a bit, splitting up BEC into more specialized sections. Rumours say they made Audit easier and BEC got harder
Congratulations 🎊 I am considering taking the CPA Exam again. Good tips
Thank you! Best of luck
@@statuskuo Thanks

Really helpful for thinking about my program :) wonderful video!
I’m so glad to hear that! Are you doing an MBA or thinking about doing one?
This is Zac Costa HAHAHA I thought my RUclips account was my name but I guess not 😂
@@zacc6820 HAHAHHAHA NOPE. it’s a random gen Zac 😂 GL WITH UR PROGRAMMM
Nice Video. My MBA was worth it. I think the networking opportunities and the access to industry insights and experience provided a lot of value. I did go into consulting after my MBA through connections I made during my program. It also gave me the opportunity to live overseas in Japan and work for a really great firm here.
Thank you! Yeah, you definitely walk away with a lot of networks and trial and error experiences. But the worth truly depends on what you make of it! Hope Japan is still treating you well!
It's NOT worth it. TRUST ME.
I can totally see your POV. I have friends who’d agree with you, but personally and for some, it is worth it
Hey thanks for sharing your valueable insights! Is Chicago Booth great for tech recruitments? Suppose want to get into Big tech in Bay area post MBA? How structured the recuritment at booth is and how supportive are career services for tech recruitments and do a lot of big techs come for oncampus recruiting?
We have 70 ish interns out of a 600 person cohort in the bay. It’s one of the top 3 concentrated areas people are interning! I’m currently interning in the bay in tech, pivoting from accounting. I love the support from student clubs like Booth Technology Group that help out a lot in recruiting! And yes~ many big companies come to campus to do panels and intros etc. There are also a lot of virtual events we’re connected to through the school’s recruiting website
Thanks a lot, it’s very helpful!
Glad to hear that!
Very helpful 👍👍
Passing the CPA exams is when you study hard, if you can't study or you don't have time for your studies I'd advise you get yourself a help like Mr Willard.
People keep talking about Willard all over RUclips, he must be a very awesome help.

Everyone has their own way, Willard worked for me and studying didn't .
And I don't give a Fuck what you say
"Hey there, where do you call home?"
Hard to say nowadays. Been a year since I made my short film asking myself that question but I still don’t have an answer
"@statuskuo 😄 I must say, I really enjoyed your content!"
