She is a delightful entertainer. Absolutely delightful.
What an incredible woman
Gorgeous then and now. What a woman!!
I love her so,.....
I rarely use the word perfect. But she is. Perfect. Stunning voice and beauty, and so nice irl!
Morgan is amazingly deep and humble, and that's what makes her beauty!
Very talented and beautiful. First saw her on " All about the Bass"...so cute ! I am hooked.
superb
I like Morgan James, she is multifaceted, she has her own style and I really like her when she sings blues songs.
You are such a great woman !
Wow
Shes wonderful!
❤️
I first encountered this oh so fantastically elegant and stunningly vocalised lady was when watching a few Hailey Reinhart videos (who also has such a bewitching voice - see her version of 'Creep' for example).... Until... Post Modern Jukebox version of "All About The Bass" featuring three lovely lady singers.... Hell!! What a woman! I thought... Such a fine, clear and powerful voice, and the facial expressions she gave when she sang too!! I have watched many of her performances on YT, from 'Barbie Girl' to 'Dream On'... I just simply love every aspect of this woman..... And, I wish her all the very best live, fate, fortune and love can give her... 😍🤗🤗🤗😎🇬🇧
"I realised I didn't want to be an opera singer", LOL. Fact is that she sang an opera when she auditioned for Julliard but the sour reality for her was that she doesn't have the chops and vocal technique for it.
Partially agree with Richard Brown's comment. The Dream On cover she did with PMJ was spectacular. Her version of Jolene, also great. A separate thing she has going for her aside from her vocal skills - she fairly radiates joy in her performances. All creative fields are tough! No surprise there. Like many, I'm sure, glad she did get a break, as it (getting to hear and see her sing) has added to my trek through life
Wau. I knew MJ can sing but opera? I am amazed and mesmerized.
What an excellent interview and the history and advice she provides, amazing, as she is as well (and her hubby - he's a fantastic musician).
To paraphrase someone, I can’t remember who, God made all human beings, but when he made you, he was just showing off.
She said " the answer was no everyday" how many people lost thier job for being Frickin idiots!!!!
Very interesting to see these early clips and interview... she has really come into her own over the last few years. Go and see her perform live, I can't explain how incredible her voice and presence is in person. And buy her albums, because... why wouldn't you?
A true goddess.
Andrea must be proud to listen to you
I love her attitude, that obstacles actually help to define you. There is a great truth to "necessity is the mother of invention". The best things that have happened to me in my life came about when I was forced to overcome an obstacle. When I was young, I used to avoid obstacles believing they stood in the way of opportunity. I'm older and wiser now and have learned to embrace them as the best kind of opportunity. 😊
Shame on me that I did not realize she had classical training while listening to her singing soul music standards. She's fantastic!
Excellent interview! Intelligent and beautiful lady with incredible talent! Luv ya Morgan! ❤️✌️
Morgan james. Smart talented beautiful
I sing every day too, Morgan, but my audience is my daughter, my husband and my dogs. One of them is deaf and my husband doesn't think I'm a great singer. My only fan is my daughter. 😉
When was this recorded?
I first saw her with Postmodern Jukebox ready to do Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass." Then she opened her mouth. Now, both my eyes and ears are in love. .
Really driven to do better watching this interview. What a beautiful story teller. Story telling is the most important art form out there! So much of our technology world is built on a house of sand, but story telling is generational. Passed down in our families and treated as sacred. He is not afraid to get really vulnerable and share his most painful experiences with all of us. James was able to transform his pain and turn it into purpose. I've got to remember this when I'm hurting. No matter how much it pains me, we must tell the truth and take responsibility for our lives. Face those shadows within us. It brings faster transformation when your honest and own up to your choices and accountability. The pain really does help you gain more. The Field of Dreams song he performs makes me weep. What You'd Call A Dream that's it. A song full of faith, grace and joy! I shared that one with all my family and friends through text. The lyrics to that song has helped me cope with this strange odd time we are living in. Very grateful for this awareness. Thank you!
cool !
отличная певица!!!!
Her version of "Dream On" may be the best solo vocal ever done, period, ever, by anybody. Stunning.
How could one person have it all.
A superb vocalist! Morgan is an incredibly talented musician, stage performer who just reaches the heart of any audience. She has real presence and is a superstar in the making. I love her performances and am blown away by her raw talent. Thank you Morgan for giving us your amazing talent.
I LOVE YOU I've always have !!!
Brilliant piece, natural interview, very helpful and a great share!
" You know" every 5 seconds, exactly like Lindsey Vonn. I think it s an American thing. Much love, XO XO.
Unbelievable voice great personality, and drop-dead gorgeous. I knew her from Postmodern Jukebox but RUclips autoplayed her rendition of Lay Down Sally (that blew me away) while I was working and I didn't realize who it was until I started playing her videos. Wish she would do something near me. I would go out of my way to see her.
I knew she was talented and lovely. She also shines in this interview. Such a relatable and articulate woman.
A true force of nature.
So humble. What a genuine person she is.
More Bring Me Giants: www.weinernusim.org/giants But I don't see the interview dates anywhere.
What year was this interview?
God bless you, honey. God bless you.
wow. Woman has it together.
Images are usually carefully crafted. Sometimes it helps cultivate and elevate talent. But it usually cannot makeup for the lack of talent. I’m reminded of the movie “Rocky,” in which Mickey consuls Rocky, “What you need is a manager!”
Love the backgroud to how she approaches new music. An absolutely amazing voice / talent.
all you need to do to get to know this Diva is to check the song "Dream on" by Postmodern Jukebox . She is a superior vocalist as far i am concerned and the musicians surrounding her are just top caliber ... they gave to the song a new fresh "flavor" kinda Jazz to the ear but Morgan ...mmmmm that voice seemed almost limitless , her emotions were spot on , her breath control out of this world
