Stoked with the event, my favorite enduro race!
Finished 9/29 Overall in Sport 30-39 with a total time of 33:59.454

Raced the Nevada City Enduro for the first time last weekend and grabbed 1st place in Sport 19-34! Pretty stoked with my riding, gave it my all on the pedaling. Thanks to Bear Racing Events for putting together this fun race! My time was 14:17, which would have placed me 5th/10 in Elite Bike - Trek Slash 2022 Suspension - Ohlins 0:00 - Stage 1 5:12 - Stage 2 8:12 - Stage 3

Muddiest race ever, yet somehow the GoPro stayed mostly clean. Got 4th place in Sport 18-29, 1s from 3rd for over 20 minutes of racing Equal parts stoked and bummed, but onto the next race!

I just moved about 45 minutes from that area! What trail system is this??
Good area to move near to! It's between highway 9 and UCSC.
Watching this I’m like what trail is this.; I don’t recognize? Then I saw where it ended and did recognize. Always wondered what was up there on the other side of the road. Looks rad!

Love demo, only been there twice and actually had problems both times, and never tried Braille. Will definitely be hitting it over Christmas. Hope it's dry enough.
It's a super fun trail, I'm also hoping things dry up ASAP to get back out there!
My family and I tried getting up there to ride the trails but end up getting lost and never finding it. Is there any guide or signs that helped you find the trail for the first time?

At the top, you take another right onto the ridge trail. Then it's about half a mile to Braille and the flow trail. Braille is first. Have fun.

I think I finished 10 or 11 in the same class. First time riding in the wet and definitely need to work on conditioning for that stage 3 hahaha good times

lol the spot @ 7:52 I went flying through blind, jumping those whoops sections.. right into that flat turn.. locked up the brakes, front tire went off.. and I went down, down, down.. Luckily I wasn't really hurt or impaled on a tree stump.. that drop is steep AF too. It was hard to get out, I had to climb like 10 feet with by busted ass bike... Even green trails can fk you up at summit if you aren't paying attention or are over confident.
Oh for sure, gotta learn a trail and slowly build up speed even when it's green. Glad you made it out ok, sounds wild!
@@mtboyan1817 We just did it because we had never done it and took it down for lunch lol. We were on blue steel and party wave before that and you're absolutely right. That's what I get lol.

Yeah this stage was horrible honestly, way too much climbing

How was the Capra on that race? I want to do an enduro race (in SoCal) on my Capra AL but not sure which one to do
It's honestly a lot of bike for what the race was, a Jeffsy would've been better. It really depends on how they set up the stages, that race in particular had waay too much climbing IMO. But don't let that stop you from trying it out, racing is super fun!
