I can't believe this a grade 7 piece. Maybe they had been down the pub when setting the syllabus. It needs a good ear to hear the control and texture. Anyway one setting for an authentic tone use a strat middle and neck pickup and marshall tube amp with settings as per book (cleaner of the two distorted channels) with room reverb.... AND use your fingers rather than a pick (That's where most of the texture comes from). If your using a pick and the volume pot it's a token gesture

well, my guess at the intro was spot on LMAO not bad at all dude, BUT a vital missing part is during choruses anyway theres a palm muted picked riff he does, thats what i was checking on here...... pretty good with the solo anyway.

which amplifier did you use?

Nice one... I have a couple of my students doing this one in their exam. If I could give you one tip, roll your volume off for the main song and then crank it up for your solo. That way you'll still have nice sustain for the solo and the harmonics will chime through even with the slightly less gain but you wont overpower the subtle parts. Good solo and nice vibrato. Great job. One of my favorite songs. Wondering if you could do Freedom 90 by George Michael.

yes the song and the solo is in cm. the tabs are made by listening to the original studio version of the song. if you hear that and watch the tabs you'll see that they match. many guitarist play their solos differently (some a little and others a lot) live and thats because when you have to remember by heart 20 songs it is completely normal not to remember every single note. Hope i've been clear. Thanks for enjoying my video :)

I dont understand how you can play in the 11 fret if it is in a cm scale? It sounds correct but I can see they play it differently than you live? Other than that really great cover:)
