Severe Thunderstorm Warning ⛈️ 70 MPH Winds
As a slight risk of severe weather was approaching Metro Detroit area around 5:45 PM, a 70 MPH wind gust hit the area. After, more than 365,000 customers were without power in Michigan.

A Marginal risk of severe weather occurred in Wayne County and Monroe County 5-26-24
What's interesting was the lack of rain. Storm was mainly producing wet downbursts before. By the time it reached Southeastern Michigan, the downbursts became dry, and little rain fell. Most of the rain that did fell came from the back-side of the storm.
You are very right about that, it didn’t rain more than half of the storm, my camera was also blurry.
5:29 to 6:22 70 MPH winds
5:58 was where the 70 MPH started.

I kept waiting. At best those were 30mph winds and I'm being generous.
Actually my friend, the Nws had said, "A damaging thunderstorm winds or wind gusts of 50 knots or higher within 25 miles of a point for the Great lakes." Which 50 knots = 57.5.
The camera was bad and not working properly.
