After 10 years of inspiring our students through the arts, we're taking a look back at the history of UpBeat. We're so excited about the future of these students, and honored be working with these young people to find joy in music. Thank you to our students, families, and supporters through the years for helping us to make such an impact.

The evening is filled with fun, dancing, and inspirational performances from our students, teachers, and 16 Candles Band. Proceeds help provide student scholarships and strengthen UpBeat Programs. Summer 2021: UpBeat students at After School Matters spent a day immersed in a professional studio and recorded a track! Incredible performance and preparation as this was the first time they played this song together in person AND some of them are beginners.

Typically, the teens in our After School Matters (ASM) program participate in an ensemble learning to play instruments in a group and perform as a band. However, during this time of virtual learning our teens in the Spring 2021 program have recorded and produced a full-length music video.
