The Bozo Show Grand Prize Game - I believe January 25, 1982
From elsewhere in the broadcast, this appears to have aired the day after the Super Bowl. And I say I was 10. Hence my guess of 1/25/82.

I grew up on the north side not far from WGN & one of my favorite prized possessions an autographed 8X10 of Bob Bell has Bozo the clown loved the show ray rayner & garfield Goose & friends great childhood memories & 3 christmas shorts hardrock coco & Joe Susie snowflake & frosty the snowman was a staple of Chicago christmas's for us boy's & girl's a long time ❤❤❤
when they had boys and girls. the good ol days.
Dude, light bright!
There would need to be about 10 bikes in bucket number 6 these days😂
Frazier Thomas died almost exactly a year to the day after Bob Bell taped his last show as Bozo the Clown. So, I was doubly sad & as a fan of *Family Classics* too, I never thought it would be the same.
Is this you mark?
Boy: "I'm back from the bathroom, what did I miss?" Parent: "Not much. What ticket number do you have?" Boy: "B-621, why?" Parent: "Um, no reason."
*there was no Bozo Puter when i was growing up* it was always the flashing arrows
Frazier right here retired months later and Bozo took over as host with Cookie took over as assistant. Mark's at home player lived in Columbus, Ohio watching WGN on the superstation.
No one had 621
The boy is standing to close!
Audiance looks like a blizzard.
Great audience
Awesome 1982 Bozo Show Grand Prize game treasured classic!!
Five months and one day before I was born
I remember having a tootsie roll bank lol
Was this episode of The Bozo Show taped in the same studio, but with a different set design?
.. anyone from Chicago on here that remember Zion Roller Rink .. we used to go there on Sunday nights after church.. that was 50 some years ago.. Strange question I know , this episode of when I was a kid .. I haven't thought about that in years
He says 621 so confidently though 😏
"B 621" was probably pissed after this aired on TV!😸
You and Tina both played very well that day for playing the Grand Prize Game!
The player you played with that she shared my cousin's first name, Tina.
By the way, did you and Tina became friends?
I think that was you, Marc.
It would be awesome if someone could find Tina and Mark to see this.
This is Marc's video...
I was 621 and my luck continues
😂
Classic😅
I'm still laughing 😂
My cousin Suzy was on the bozzo show she played a relay game this was before when ringmaster Ned was there
Lite brite, toosie rolls and doll stroller, they dont give away prize like that today. Kitchen appliances who wants kitchen appliances🤣
Wow, this is fun!
Fun fact…$50 is the equivalent to 148.30 in 2022😏
This episode was aired 2 days before I was born, but this show remained on air long enough for me to get to enjoy and love it through my youth. Yep… I’m down that rabbit hole of nostalgia y’all, and I want to cry. Who wants to join me?!
i was born the month before.
That boy reminds me of Jack Wild in HR PuffNstuff!
This is a classic when I was a kid I looked forward to the Grand prize game. I always wanted to be on there hope the show will return they are bringing back old shows
Why are all of these videos made to look much older with static lines, Every single video 🤔
The girl is darling!
Hi Marc, I got a question. You may not know but I'm going to ask it anyway. Do you know if this was taped in the famous Studio One at WGN Studios? The reason I'm asking is that I know they were using up until the last days Bob Bell performed as Bozo. That set was the one that was used for the rest of the show's existence. From January of 1981 until the early part of 1984, it was still this red "in-the-round" set. I saw a video on here that was dated March 5th, 1984 and it was still on this set. Now it is entirely possible that they filmed on the new set from March 12th until April 4th, the day of Bob Bell's last show, giving a total of 24 shows on the new set (four weeks, three days each week, two shows each day), but the only way that could be possible is if this was not in Studio One. No way would they have been able to dismantle this set and have the new set built up in a matter of five days.
Waukegan is where i was born. At st Therese hospital. Lived in zion my whole life.
I remember going there to get my cub scout uniform ⚜️
At 4:21, the good old Lite Brite. I used to have one those. So much fun.
At 3:18, a jumbo Tootsie roll filled with tootsie roll candy that later becomes a reusable bank. They gave a lot of those away in the Grand Prize Game over the years. They were popular. My girlfriend told me that she had one when she was little.
R I p frasher
May be a bit early but I want to wish Tina a Happy 50th birthday!
Poor 621😔
so, in 1982, there were only 2 sexes............ when did we get 14 different sexes ????????
I'm actually an Apache Helicopter for my gender...
You were beaten by a girl mark
2:14 Upper right corner. Looks like Bill Murry. Maybe he was the unclaimed number.
If them kids are still alive they round 50. Loved this show.
See her using his hips to balance her. Aww wandering they got married.
Those boys and girls are well over 50 now
Well. Turning 50 in the fall.
Hey! Some of us aren't WAY over 50! Some of us aren't quite to 50 yet. 😱😠😭
Is this Bob Bell, playing Bozo here.
Just by looking at the studio/stage and before even seeing Bozo, I can tell you it's Bob Bell...
@@mcgannahanskyjellyfetti6854 Thanks, I could have known it was Bob Bell.
@@nicholasmardis9846 On a side note, I always thought that studio with the stage was much better than the studio they used with the bleachers. I thought it was more colorful especially with the cartoon characters on the wall...
Back when there were boys and girls and the world wasn't insane and stupid.
GRAND PROZE GAME? i'M SURE 10 YR OLD MARK WILL LOVE HIS TUNEYVILLE CHO CHO & HIS $2.99 NERF HOOP. WONDER WHY THEY DEMOTED BOZO TO STAGEHAND?
