No no no, its title describe it as most badass is just based on my subjective & personal experience. It depends on people who played it but about this game's critics of combat is not all that good because the monotonously consisted combat is sometimes boring, compare to its good stories and graphic.

Sorry for my narrow view cause I never played god of war series before, Witcher 3 might not well-made game for only its battle but If you getting interested the world of witcher, you will enjoy it I promise!

Play Souls games, Monster Hunter, Dragon's Dogma or Nioh, skip this trash, the combat, camera, controls are beyond terrible and repetitive

You can change the camera setting back to default one in combat.

The close camera is definitely worse for combat but its better for exploration. Thankfully, they separated the option for both scenario so you can have default camera for combat and close camera for exploration.

It isn't worth it on PC yet, there's a lot of visual glitches and performance issues (even with lower settings than RTX). The new visual options are fine, specially the close camera during exploration, but I didn't quite noticed the combat changes. The biggest reason to play the game again IMO is to complete the new quest at Devil's Pit and unlock the Netflix gear. Although you still need to improve it to Grandmaster level to get the Season 2 look. Sadly, the performance issues took me away from the game in the meantime. It's better to wait for awhile until they manage to fix it.

The sword is 'Iris' which is in DLC, Hearts of stone

Hey! as your wish, they changed the camera angle for the next gen update now!!

You can win that sword named 'Iris' by playing the DLC of the game, 'The Hearts of Stone' , and at the end of this DLC mission, you will face a choice that you can earn the sword. I can't tell you more because it has spoilers about the story line so, you should just play it !

@@pazu627 he's probably asking about that heavy Attack upgrade.

It’s called “whirl” or “spin” I think, in the red upgrade tree section. You just hold x (or whatever your fast attack button is) to spin if you have enough adrenaline available.

@@johnmarston1227 whirl and rend are pretty well known abilities. he was probably asking about the animation where the guy gets his hand cut off but still attacks never seen that one before personally out of my 3 run throughs of the game
