I haven't made use of my Shonen Jump subscription to read the full manga. My opinion is that he is literally the magic or his magic is making his thoughts come true in a way. He wants cream puffs, he gets them. He knows he can't fly but he can jump so high and pedal his legs to imitate flying, he wants the squirming letters to stop moving and they did, totally scared of him. He can power his muscles to make him literally invincible. As long he has put it in his mind to win, he could. That may be his innate power and that's really OP. One thing is sure, cream puff is a real side character. He even saved Mash from being a puppet!

Even when in a anti magic field he would still be extremely strong just not able to go stronger?
