Easier way to get a bounty in Ambarino is to kidnap sheriff Malloy, take him to Ambarino, release him and immediately retie him to cause the law to instantly start searching for you so you can kill them for the bounty. Keep Sheriff Malloy alive and tied up so you can release him and retie him up again to cause the law to come after you again when they eventually give up.
