Two Seniors: Stan & Sue

Welcome, I'm glad you stopped by and took time to read this.
I'm an explorer on a journey with the aim of sharing knowledge and wisdom, hoping to encourage, inspire and motivate. Most recently I fulfill these journey goals with videos on outdoor activities such as camping using my SUV tent. If that's something that interests you, stick around. You can share your expectations and we can have a meeting of minds (my old professor's phrase).
I'm a retired counsellor (as of 2024 age 70) married to Stan who is 81. We enjoy CRV camping, tent camping, outdoor activities, hiking, nature, and it includes the exploration of Tiny Homes, investigating the idea ofRV living, and eventually perhaps living full time in a Class C RV. Who knows where the next ten years will take us. It's all a big adventure. Young at heart, Stan and Sue

#Trump news tariffs #poweroutages If the power goes out here’s a solution
Tent Adventure may be needed if Trump follows through with tariffs & Ontario says cuts the electrical power. Solution: create a Tent Adventure inside your home, conserve your own body heat energy by sleeping in your tent in your house. If it should happen that the electricity to the US does get cut, or even if the power goes out, you can help yourself stay warm by sleeping in your tent inside your home. Make an adventure out of misadventure.
In 2023, Canada exported 27.6 terawatt-hours (TWh) of electricity to the United States. It’s a serious matter.

Knitting vs Crocheting, what’s the difference? Six good reasons to choose
Love your channel, so much fun! Like your outing and seeing different areas!
Hmm. I liked it until I realized I’d never get it together. On the other hand, practice makes perfect. . . Perfect?
Update January 8, 2025… Just to let people know, at my two week checkup the hole in the macular had healed over completely, which was the purpose of the gas bubble in the eye, to put pressure on that area and encourage nature to help heal. The retina hole healed and attached properly and I had no infection. It takes up to 6 months for the retina to regenerate, so my eyesight is not perfect yet, but the surgery put the eye in the right direction to heal and recover. Cheers!
Thank you for showing. I watched the video on Amazon that makes repacking it look easier. I’ll see.
Hmm. I was also hoping to watch as he got back out of the chair. That’s my worry for me. I think my walking stick could be my assistance, though.
@@tlsnana9539 When I first ordered these chairs for both of us, I was concerned for Stanley and myself, would we be able to get up out of the chair easy enough. For that reason, for my concerns, I made sure to order ones that had a 15” height. I knew they couldn’t be too close to the ground or that would be an issue. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them out and was able to get up with ease. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, diagnosed when I was 21. The chairs would be a loss for me (or returned) if I couldn’t manage getting in and out. But as mentioned, I was pleasantly surprised. We both are able to manage them with great ease. I have another earlier video where I show the chair, me sitting in and getting out of the chair. The video was published Dec 6, “Perfect Camp Chair: Great for backpacking” I’d place a link but I don’t know how to do that yet… lol… Me at 70 learning new things. Cheers!
@ wonderful!! I just ordered it. Thank you so much. We’re going to walk as soon as I heal and this will go with us.
@@tlsnana9539 I’m so happy that you ordered. Of course, I don’t get anything from the order, but that’s not the point. I’m happy that you have something that will be useful when taking your walks. I can’t wait for the weather to improve so we can take our chairs along and enjoy a sweet spot, a lovely view. When you take your first walk, if you remember, drop me a line. I’d love to hear how it went for you. Cheers!
@@TwoSeniors I will. I get spring fever as the days get longer again. I’d love to go to Ricketts Glen with my son and our dog, but that won’t be safe until late May. It’s too icy along the falls .
@ I looked up Ricketts Glen once. It looks like a beautiful place. I’d love to go, but it’s roughly about a days journey for me. Who knows maybe one day I can do a road trip there.
Looks like heaven!
Also, the “two for one” lanes on the highway are designed to encourage less pollution. The idea is, if there are two or more people in the car then the driver can use the fast lane. Many cars on the road only have one occupant. It hopefully saves the environment.
I have not lost the dream but Stanley lost his job, or …let’s say the company encouraged his retirement. With that we lost 2/3 of our income so I’m working on a new plan, still the dream, just don’t know how or when. That’s the way dreams go. Sometimes it seems as if the dream dies and then…. Something happens and we’re able to make it a reality.
Thanks for sharing. Difficult situation to deal with when income drops so drastically as yours did. Gosh that must be hard. Has Stanley ever thought of pastoral services in a hospital? Some are volunteer, but some are paying positions. When I had my hip replacements, the pastor from the hospital chapel came to my room. We had a really nice chat and shared our faith and experiences. It was nice. The two for one lane driving idea is interesting. I don't know if sassy Americans would abide tho. Unless you'd get ticketed for not abiding. Then they might. That had to be a very difficult time for Stan when his wife was unfaithful. So good that you both met and have found happiness together. God is good. Your plans for future travel sound nice. Like you said, money is a consideration, but who knows what opportunities might arise in the future. Every day is a new start. Hey, I viewed a priceless video on RUclips the other day. It was a speech that Canadian MP Elizabeth May gave and was put on RUclips. She gave her thoughts on Trump's statement about Canada being the 51st state. I was cheering. It was so good! The title is "Canada Turns the Tables on Trump with a Brutal Offer". She just ripped him up one side and down the other. If you want to watch, just type the title in the RUclips search box and it will come right up. I hope you're having a nice day. I very much enjoy our talks.
@ enjoy talks, me too. I often get ideas from your conversation. You’ll see one soon. I won’t tell you what it is but you will know it when it airs.
Yesterday Stan started calling all the local churches and nearby offering his pastoral services in terms of weddings and funerals. You see, the church may have let him go because of restructuring but he’s still active and wants to do things. So we will see how things progress. In the meantime we are two happy people. Sad note though, our Prime Minister resigned after 9+ years of service. I wonder sometimes if our countries are in trouble, or heading that way. I watched the video you mentioned. I may end up voting for her if she runs for PM.
@@TwoSeniors - Sounds like a great idea that Stan is offering his services to local churches. I would think there are many busy pastors who would welcome this. Yes, sad that PM Trudeau is resigning. It was headlining our news. They said the issues were the economy and immigration. The upside for him is that he won't have to deal with Trump. Glad you had a chance to watch the video of Elizabeth May. I hope she does run for PM. She'd be great. I'll watch for your video that you said I would recognize right away. I'm intrigued!
This was very interesting. I had been wondering what had happened with your RV plans. Yes, that RV park setup was a bit expensive. I'd thought about selling my house and buying a travel trailer (small one) and just traveling. Stay in warm southern states in winter and cooler northern states in summer. I watch a lot of videos where folks do this. Maybe you have too. Travel is great, but the on-the-road life has its ups and downs, as I'm sure you're aware. Bathing, bathroom needs, water supply, charging batteries, frequent food shopping, having a PO box that would change often. Did I want to take the chance of my pension and social security not getting to me. I know there are remedies for all of these things, but I asked myself if I want to deal with it all or would I rather keep my home as a base and travel, camp, go to events around my state, all of which I've been doing during my 14 years of retirement. So far, it's the latter.
@@Judy-fi7ce Thanks for sharing your story. I think… if money was not an option, I’d have a small home base and a Class C unit for travel. I’d close up my home base for about 4 months in the Winter and travel in the south, Florida, Texas, New Mexico, Southern California, Arizona. Then back to home base for more local travel. I have also been thinking that with a Class C one would either be dealing with cold or too hot. The too hot would be easier to manage. I would have a pop up tent for sleeping on really hot nights, or definitely use fans for cooling. One can dream, but $ is a big consideration right now. I had thought that Stan’s work would continue at least for another few years but the church he worked for reallocated their finances and jobs. Stan was pastoral care. Now they have volunteers for the job. People are telling us that it’s not the same, but… what can you do. I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this but Stan is an ordained Baptist pastor. His wife was continuously unfaithful, had boyfriends while he preached (yes, one time boyfriend was sitting beside her while he delivered his message). We met an married when we were both single parents. He will be 82 this February. He’s open to gaining employment but we’re not sure what or where. We lost about 2/3 of our income with the loss of his work. My part time job with a greeting card company also cut hours, so now my supplemental income is down 2/3 as well. We were not expecting any of this. Rising costs and cuts in work hours seems to be happening everywhere. Overall, I’m still a happy girl. I’m trusting that life will change in the positive. Cheers!
Good place to walk when it's so cold out. Thirty minutes is a good walk. I walk from one end of my house to the other, back and forth. I'm up to 70 laps. Sounds like a lot, but it's about 20 minutes worth, then I do some stretches. We're having dry, cold weather in the teens, but a fair amount of sunshine. You did well on not purchasing anything. Guess what! Only 3 months till April and possible camping weather!!
Amazing, up to 70 laps. I’m always amazed at how one idea (my walking in Walmart) is not unique. I’m not the only one. Of course, I know that life is like that. I’m wondering if you’d be interested in my other channel geared towards senior moments, living, and me at 70 trying to create a RUclips channel, (separate from this one of course). I’ve renamed the channel to “What Works When Life Doesn’t” I’m not sure if it will show up in a search or not. Anyway, let me know if you find it (if you wish to). Cheers!
@@TwoSeniors - I've got a small ranch house, so it doesn't take long to do the 70 laps. But that 20-25 minutes worth of exercise is really beneficial for me. Just finished watching your video on "What Works When Life Doesn't". I left a comment there, so won't elaborate here. I enjoyed the video and your thoughts on the subject. The two for one lane is something I've never heard of. I had to back it up to see if I heard you correctly. I'm wondering what it has to do with the grand scheme of things on the freeway. I don't understand the purpose, but I'm sure there must be one.
Okay. You’ve inspired me! I’ll start walking the mall! I know people do that, so, I’ll become a mall Walker. 😊 it is too bitter cold for me to even walk the block in the frigid weather! Stay warm.
@@susie-q96 You’re so right about the weather being cold. It’s either cold, blowing, sleet, rain, or snow. So “unfriendly”. I’m grateful for my one day of part time work with a greeting card company. I get about 7 hours walking with that, lifting boxes, opening packages of cards, placing them in the appropriate slots and walking up and down the aisle. I love the workout…lol… The company has cut back on hours. It used to be three part time hours a week. Now it’s only one. I miss the workout, so I may become a connoisseur of Malls…lol…Hiking Malls… the new focus…lol…Happy walking.
Yes, the sunset is beautiful, thank you. Happy new year.❤
@@PinkandPossible I asked my daughter today what her favorite camping spot was for 2024. She said, “Look at my shirt”… lol.. She was wearing her MacGregor camping shirt. Grand-daughter Joce also loved that place. I was thinking today, maybe I should start thinking about booking so I can get a great spot.
I follow certain walking/exercise channels on you tube such as Denise Austin for AARP (short & no commercials), Improved Health (usually walking with no commercials (depending on the music), etc. There is a lot for seniors.
Thanks for sharing! It's always great to have new or different resources, especially for keeping fit as a senior. Cheers!
Who knew that a copyright issue would appear because of the background music playing in the store… argh! Can’t monetize this video…
Maybe you can edit it out…
I did that using their online RUclips suggestion. I selected the edit option they offered and apparently it worked. Thanks again for sharing this information.
Happy New Year! I hope you and Stan had a wonderful Christmas, as well! Looking forward to following you in the new year!❤
Happy New Year! Despite what we Americans have bulldozing through our democracy in 20 days, I am really looking forward to positive change, better health and a more positive outlook on life. 😊❤
For sure, it will be interesting to see what happens … history in the making I think.
Happy New Year Sue and Stan! We all appreciate you too!
What size did u knit
Following the pattern, at some point you reach about 210 sitiches in the yoke. When it got to size (dividing front and back and sleeve stitches) I used size 3.
Very nice. Merry Christmas
Thank you. I hope you had some memorable moments with your Christmas. Well… we’re heading into a New Year. Let’s hope it’s a good one for all.
After seeing your chair review I ordered my husband and I each one. He is 81 and I am 79. We live in Montana. I thought they would be great for our walks.
I’m sure you will like the chairs. I can’t wait to use ours. They are very comfortable, much to my surprise. Cheers and Happy New Year. Wishing you all the best.
Love the chairs! So handy and lightweight. Stan liked his chair and looked comfortable in it. I got myself a new stove and fridge for Christmas. My old ones were 40 years old! I see on the news that Ontario's Premier Doug Ford says Canada will shut off electricity to northern US states (including Wisconsin) if Trump goes thru with the 25% tariff. He said Canada will not be slapped around. Good for him! Trump needs to see that countries will not stand for his foolishness. He mentioned Trump's ridiculous statement about Canada becoming the 51st state and called it an insult. I agree. I'll just camp out in my living room if the power goes out.
Laughing out loud, camping in your living room if power goes out. We have heard about the talks and I suspect we have more information on this side of the border, but Ford is a great Premier and he’s not a … how do you say… it’s no bluff. Not all the other Premiers of other provinces agree with Ford but I do believe most people are with him. I suspect that neither of the threats will occur. Yup, Trump needs to know that us Canadians are strong people, not whimps about to fall prey to his orders. As I said, Ford is not bluffing but I doubt the power will be turned off. Someone needs to stand up to Trump. I also suspect that many of the things Trump says about tariffs, border and so on, will not come to fruition. We will see.
@@TwoSeniors - Here here! Glad you got a chuckle out of the living room camping, but hey, I'm not kidding. I have a small one-person tent and a minus 20 degree F sleeping bag that weighs 17 pounds which I got a couple years ago after reading up on how to keep warm if the power goes out in winter. Your body heat helps keep you warm inside the small tent and well, the sleeping bag speaks for itself. I also have a Buddy Heater which runs on propane and is safe for indoor use, altho I'd crack the door open a little for ventilation. My windows are sealed to keep cold air out, so I don't open them. But yes, Go Canada! You can help us keep Trump in his place.
I have been toying with the idea of seeing if my beach tent will fit in the Honda. I’d use my sub zero sleeping bag and a few other comforts and spend the night there, just to try it. I’m waiting for the right night. I haven’t told Stan about the idea yet but I’m sure he’d say,, “You’re kidding right” and then he’d say something affirming the idea, and of course he wouldn’t join me. He knows I’m a bit crazy. Anyway, the idea of the beach tent in the Honda is so that I can help retain body heat. I have a few ideas for trying out in the Honda. Anyway, I’ve been busy these days, as most are over the holidays.
@@TwoSeniors - A beach tent in the car! I love the idea. I'd be interested in how it works when you get the chance to try it out.
That looks like the perfect chair for those places, you know the kind of view, the views of lakes, hills, or a river. My son and I take a trail that brings us to a fantastic view of the Mississippi. That chair would be great just to take in the moment!
Thank you for your comments. The chairs are not expensive and they are made well, very sturdy. I researched a number of chairs and this set had the best height 15” and best strong Oxford cloth, plus the cross section in the bottom is sturdy and avoids tipping. We were both impressed on how comfortable they are.
I love it! Live and do what you want to do! Don't worry about what anyone else thinks, except God! Keep doing you! 💚💚
...but they're having so much fun! Just kidding :)
Did you notice that the fire has its own stick and marchmallow… and around the camp fire it looks like rolled socks… not rocks. They are all too close to the fire and too warmly dressed. Interesting AI generation of an image. Apparently AI has a lot to learn. Cheers and Merry Christmas
@@TwoSeniors - I thought that stick was in the girl's other hand, but I guess it's coming out of the fire. That would be weird. I thought those were marshmallows around the fire ring, but couldn't really make it out. They sure were too close to the fire and the fire was INSIDE the tent! Their roasting sticks were too short also. It was a cute little quiz though.
Thanks for having fun with the quiz. It was a spontaneous idea. You’re right about the stick coming out of the fire and everyone being too close. AI apparently has a lot to learn. I saw a friend’s generated Ai image of seniors painting and the canvas was on the wrong side of the easel. Merry Christmas. Will you be with your daughter? We did our daughter visit last week, sons this weekend, friends on Christmas Day. I don’t have to cook anything but am making cheesecakes. I love making those.
@@TwoSeniors - Sounds like you're having a busy Christmas season. Had a pre-Christmas visit with my daughter already. She works two jobs; driving school bus and driving coach tours all over the country. Her schedule is so busy, she's cooking her Thanksgiving dinner in January. She also volunteers in community activities such as Boy Scouts of America and a county park near her home. I don't know how she does it with 3 kids at home, even though they are teenagers. But they do help out. I used to make cheesecakes often too. There's nothing like a homemade cheesecake. Merry Christmas to you and Stanley!
Maybe don't let the fire have it's own marshmallow and NO FIRE IN THE TENT GUYS
You are so right. Merry Christmas
Well, gee, if I could afford a hotel room like this - they have to be over $150 or more a NIGHT and I couldn't afford a hotel that charged $150 a WEEK, let alone a night...

But that is still beautiful!
Praying that you make a fast full recovery in Jesus name 💚💚💚! New subscriber here!
Thank you so much, what a surprise to see your note this morning. I don’t know if you can tell by our videos but we are believers too, long time now. I accepted Jesus during the Jesus Movement in the 70’s. I was 16 at the time. Now 70. My husband accepted the Lord at age 13, later became a Pastor when he immigrated to Canada from Belfast, Ireland. We are long and strong in the Lord. Blessings on you. It’s nice to know I have your prayers. My latest check up with my eye reported the hole in the macular is closed over, retina attached nicely and no infection. Now it will take up to 6 months for the rods and cones in the retina to regenerate. Such an amazing process. Cheers from Sue in Orangeville, Ontario, Canada. And Merry Christmas.
@CounselorSue I am so glad you are healing well. That's a lot going on, but you will be ok because you are covered by the best. I don't know how I got to your channel, but I guess I'm supposed to be here 😊. I've never met anyone from Canada, but I know someone in Ireland. I'm so glad to meet you, and I love your channel ❤️. May God continue to bless you and yours. Take care of yourself, and you will constantly be in my prayers 💚💚💚🙏🙏🙏
So cute… you said “I don’t know how I got to your channel, but I guess I’m supposed to be here.” I thought that was interesting. Sometimes I wonder how RUclips or and algorithms are working. It does seem that some of my videos are getting out there. I have been praying for increase… maybe that has something to do with it :o) So glad to have you here.
@@TwoSeniors We pray, and God will deliver😊😊😊. Glad to be here!
Wonderful idea! And wonderful hotel too!
@@araceliedwards9323 thanks for the comment. We had so much fun. I had no idea this place existed but glad I found it.
I’ve never seen a BW in the U.S. that looked like that! It’s beautiful! I don’t understand the concept of hotel camping, though. I’m enjoying your current camping series, regardless. Wait, is this a current video? Because you’re talking about swimming, and appt to your eye surgeon. If that’s the case, you look really great!
@@susie-q96 yes, it’s a current video. One of the reasons we did hotel camping is because my follow up eye appointment - post surgery- was in London, Ontario. One of our viewers mentioned the concept of hotel camping. I didn’t even know it was a thing, but I checked into it and yes, it is a thing. My eye appointment went well. It took about three minutes for the doc to examine my eyes and tell me everything is looking good. The hole healed and the retina is attached as it should be and there is no infection. It will take another several months (up to 6 months) for the eye to completely regenerate. The rods and cones in the retina and the brain adjusting will take time. Thanks for the compliment “look really great.” It’s amazing how well the body heals. Merry Christmas.
@ Merry Christmas to you and Stan! ❤️
@ Merry Christmas to you and I hope you enjoy your weekend and the upcoming holidays.
Glad to see you tried the hotel camping! Beautiful hotel with the pool, waterfall, trees and plants. Perfect! Loved the Mickey Mouse throw and other comforts you brought from home. (You know you wanted to sleep in the tent) 😄 Your eye looks perfectly back to normal. Stan's song about Lazy Bones reminded me of a similar one my mother used to sing to us when we didn't want to do chores. It went, "Lazy bones sittin' in the sun, howdya 'spect to get your day's works done, sittin' in the noonday sun".
@@Judy-fi7ce Hey Judy, you were the first person to mention the idea of hotel camping. I looked it up and found out that, yeah, it’s a real thing. When we were in Disney in August I couldn’t help but think that so much of what we were doing, staying at the All Star resort, was very much like camping. We took along in our suit cases many of the same items we pack for camping. The similarities are amazing. Thanks for mentioning the idea. Also, it’s neat to hear that your mom used to sing a similar sone, “Lazy bones…” You and Stan must have had great loving parents. I have no such legacy. Cheers, and Merry Christmas.
@@TwoSeniors Hi Sue. I didn't know hotel camping was a thing! Pretty neat that it is!
Good idea! lovely!
That looks amazing!
I just found you both (a new subscriber here). Please, Stan, you know how to tell a story very well. I only wish I could tell one as well. You, sir, have stories to tell; tell them, and people will come to listen. Sue, you are also a natural at this. Thank you both for sharing your journey with us.
@@GrandpaChuckStories thank you so much for sharing your comments and your compliments. We’ll definitely try to keep Stanley involved more. He’s willing … we’ll see what we can do. Cheers
Thank you for the update. Praying you will continue to heal completely. My walker folds. Really helpful.❤
@@PinkandPossible thank you for your prayers, much appreciated, and I do believe in the power of prayer. I’m praying that the hole will continue to heal over. The gas bubble is gone and so now it’s up to nature to continue the healing work, along with the power of prayer of course. Thank you once again.
I've got a RUclips channel you'd get a kick out of. It's called "Steve Wallis". He' camps in unconventional places and is hilarious. He takes it very seriously tho, which makes it even funnier. Once he camped in a large underground water drain pipe, once in an abandoned rail car, in a round-about behind the shrubs, once behind a large highway billboard. He's Canadian and his videos take place in Canada. His latest is "Camping Using Cleaning Supplies".
@@Judy-fi7ce I saw his video coming up in my feed today. It was the “camping using cleaning supplies”. I didn’t watch it because I was doing other stuff, but I’ll take a look. Thanks for let me know.
🙂👍⚘️⚘️
We will see what the Christmas reveal is like. I have some for my hubby, and I will videotape him opening them on Christmas Day.
@TwoSeniors Awesome!
*I love the chairs!*
@@bonniekaye me too and I think Stanley will like them.
Looks like a great chair. I’ve seen many folks use them. I think it’s too low to the ground for me to get out of gracefully. 😂 I hope they work well for you guys. How is your eye recovery going? Looking forward to your next camping tips video! Take care.
@@susie-q96 My eye is progressing along much as the doctor would expect. Thank you for asking. I have a check up on Monday and we’re gonna go camping at a hotel overnight because it’s a long drive from our place to London Ontario, where the doctor is.
I like the chairs. Pretty nifty. Like you said, you can take them anywhere on a hike or trip and always have something to sit on. Were they expensive? Stanley looked pretty comfortable napping in the recliner. You're looking great. How's the vision now?
@@Judy-fi7ce my eyes are progressing as scheduled I think. I see the specialist Monday. Because the weather has been so terrible snow rain cold we decided we will drive to London Ontario, and then camp out at a hotel overnight and then go home the next day.
@@TwoSeniors - sounds good. love the "camping out" at the motel. :)
Awe, watching this video again makes me hungry to go camping. I love hearing the Blue Jays in the background. Spring is about 20 weeks away. I miss camping. I know, people would say, “SO go camping.” There’s too much snow and cold. I don’t want to be one of those persons found dead in a tent… such as I’ve heard about on the news recently. God rest their soul. In the meantime, I’ll plan for Spring.
Hi Sue, interesting visual on the parts of the eye. Your eye(s) look back to normal. Glad to hear your vision is improving. I never heard of a vitrectomy before. The 20 week series sounds good. Anything about camping is good! Our weather's gotten pretty cold, 20-s and 30's. No snow on the ground right now. Yes it is truly amazing how the body heals itself We are "fearfully and wonderfully made". Take care.
Just south of us in Ontario and in Buffalo, New York area Pennsylvania huge dump of snow like up to your thigh snow and yet us in Orangeville just skiff.
@@TwoSeniors - I was just reading about the snow in PA. The article said they got 5 feet of snow and the National Guard was called in, the interstate was closed and it was declared a disaster area. Holy cow!!
@Judy-fi7ce And I thought we might have a mild, not too much snow, Winter. So far our temperatures are in the 30’s Fahrenheit.
@@TwoSeniors - Did you hear about PM Trudeau's meeting with Trump at Mar-a-Lago? They were discussing Trump's threat to impose a 25% tariff on all Canadian goods coming into the U.S., which I'm sure you've heard about. When Trudeau told Trump that that would really hurt Canada's economy, Trump said, "Well Canada could become the 51st state". OMG what an insult. Ignorant thing to say.
@ Definitely heard about it. I think most Canadians really just laughed at the comment. I suppose it was insulting, but… I wouldn’t put it past Trump to do something like that. However, we are all proud Canadians and are concerned about the proposed tariffs etc. It would not surprise me if Trump put extra guards on at the borders and made it more difficult for Canadians to go into the U.S. We may be headed for some tough times.
😮
I hope you feel better soon. My mom just got cataract surgery in one eye. She’s almost fully recovered and doing the second eye in a few days.
@@angievironchi5590 I was told by the eye surgeon/specialist that fixing a macular hole, my chances of getting cataracts increases… I was thinking, “great, something else, more surgery”, however, the cataract surgery is less frightening to me now, having undergone the macular hole surgery, and I think it will be a lot easier because it doesn’t require the “facedown” recovery time. Best wishes to your mom healing from cataract surgery. I know using all those drops after that kind of surgery can be annoying, but worth it. Thanks for sharing your comments and your mom’s story.
Quite a process. But you are making progress! Take care.
Thank you and thanks for the song. You made it to half time 💕
You are going great. Praying for healing 💕 Glad you are making progress even if it is slow
Thank you so much
Yay! You made it to half-time! You are so diligent! Your eye is definitely going to heel well! I’m glad you’re making these videos for all the other patients diagnosed with a macular hole. I could have benefited from them. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
Thank you so much for your encouraging words. You have no idea how that makes me feel.. although these videos right now are not being viewed very much. I trust that as time goes on, they will be, because I think these are things that people question, wonder about, want to know about, and it’s then that the videos will be picked up. That’s why I chose to do the series. It gave me something to do, something to look forward to every day. Bonus, I had no idea how kind and caring and supportive and encouraging you all would be … so thank you so much.
@ Yes, your videos will be very valuable to anyone searching for information on Macular Hole diagnosis, face-down recovery, and prognosis. No one I spoke to had any idea what a Macular Hole was, and how you had to keep your face parallel with the floor for so long. I would have felt better if I could find someone who had gone through it. It must not be easy to make these fine videos, but you’re doing a great service to current and future patients when they search the internet.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your hubby! 🧡🦃
Thank you. I hope you had an enjoyable day as well.
Happy Thanksgiving hope you recovery goes smooth and have a great week
Thank you for your comments and good wishes. I’m trucking along and I know everything‘s gonna be OK and the end.
