Looks like it just acted as a toner. Because purple helps cancel out brassy colors. It made your hair more blonde to me.

Kool-aid doesnt work,highlighter markers don't work. If you want pink i would use Manic panic,Splat, Directions or Arctic fox. Colourista by l'oreal works well too for a more demi permanent option.
