Gain Ground (Hard) Verbal Only - All Enemies: Deathless
To my knowledge this is a "world first." I'm unsure if anyone else has done this before unrecorded, but regardless, I'm proud of this run. It's certainly not the greatest it can be, and many times I forget my best strategy and stand there dumbly for a second, but overall I would classify it as decent.
This was played on an emulator using an Xbox One controller (Left stick to move, A-button for high shot, and B-button for low shot).
Thanks for watching and I hope someone (could be me) improves on this run in the future.
Catch ya later!

Hay little brother this is super bodacious, This has always been one of my favorite games for the sega Genesis and glad you found at least some enjjoyment from some of the games from my time. Cant wait to see what the next challenge you got up your sleeve is.All ways love playing games with all you boys Long live Gain Ground.
Goati did the inverse of this one recently over the course of two egregiously long livestreams- Hard Mode, NO Verbal. I’d do Verbal only too, but it feels too much like retreading the ground of the 2P TAS. Also, I must thank you for being generous enough to not kill off the rest of your party and just going for EXIT runs like most speedrunners do. Makes the run WAY more interesting this way!
I see what you mean about it feeling like the 2P TAS. And honestly, no Verbal sounds way more fun to do (playing one character for 50 stages kinda sucks). Your vids are awesome btw; Thanks for helping to keep Gain Ground alive!
@@rogueburger2251 Thanks! It means a lot that people are inspired by my videos to try new things in Gain Ground; to push the limits of the game. It’s one of the franchise’s strongest points!
@@Arial55555my little brother showed me your channel and have really enjoyed what I've seen so far thanks for helping to keep this super sick game alive
@@marcosquiroz6997 Thanks! And don’t worry if it looks like I’ve been on hiatus; I moved to a new place and didn’t have internet for a while. So new stuff is being worked on!
