As a 3 time Volvo owner with my longest duration being 26 years for a Volvo 745GLE Station Wagon (subsequently v40 and XC90) one thing I enjoyed was being able to deal with most maintenance issues myself. That said I did have issues I "couldn't" but with the advent of tech and computers I'm not alone. I presently don't own Volvo, but my love for the brand is still there, but the deterrent which influences me most is the infotainment driver/interaction is neither user friendly or without distraction. Every review seems to say it falls short in comparison to competition.
