I got the same camcorder online almost new but not powering up when turn on. No display on LCD. Len shield is opened up when the LCD panel is closed. Battery is ok> Any idea?

This is an impressive camcorder - crystal clear video in good lighting conditions. I have been testing it in many situations. With the standard setting (IA, IA+, SCN, etc.) with autofocus, I seem to get only the center region of the frame in focus, while other regions are out of focus. Say, there are 3 subjects (a discussion panel on stage) at a distance of 15-20 ft, and I zoom in a bit to frame them exactly. Then I notice that the central subject seems to be in clear focus, but the two on either side are out of focus. Manual focus seems to help but is tedious especially if I have to move the camera around. Are there any settings with autofocus that can give me a crystal clear (4K!) recording in the entire frame -- ie all 3 subjects in clear focus? Any help appreciated, Panasonic Imaging!!

Wish they would just shoot natural and not secretly use artificial lights in the back ground to make this look so awesome and easy to use. But it still is a great camera

If you take a close look on the lights, ( ) you will see there's chromatic aberration and purple fringing on the edge of the lights compared to center lights.

Hopefuly Panasonic have got rid of the picture "kickback" issue occuring at end of panning action in OS & OS hybrid modes Ive had to put up with (painstakingly edit around each shot) for 4 years on the HS900. Incredible how that obvious fault made it past the camcorder's testing stage but there you go, user-friendly isn't always a top priority.

Dolly Zoom is recorded in High Speed ?? Really? The best function of you camcorder, dear Panasonic.. I really hope that you can record Dolly Zoom in 24, 30 and 60 fps
