Icidoci-Lampshade
In this video I explain how I constructed the IciDoci-Lampshade.
In the first part I have a look at the geometrical structure f the model and the Sonobe units used.

Good question. I bought a string of battery powered led lights and they barely light up the mod.
Is it possible to make a wider lamp diameter?
make bigger sonobe units => bigger square paper

Step 2 instructions are too fast, even at .25x speed I'm not really sure what you're doing so I'm folding based on the photo at 5:48

Hello, thank you very much for your post, it is awesome. I wonder one think, do you suggest alternative papers for tant paper? I will do it for my son but tant paper very expensive in my country. Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Hello, thank you for your wonderfull comment. Any paper is ok because the lampshade has a inner tension which makes it stable. I recommend a stiff paper because I made the experience that the lampshades loose their spherical form after one or two years. I wish you a happy folding.

@@millerorigami9853 which paper do you used for this lamp?
@@pritibagia6240 I use TANT paper which is very heavy and stiff and a bit exhausting to fold but the models are very stable and last a long time. Another paper I use frequently is Edo mizore - a semi-transparent, very stiff paper. But this paper is quite expensive.
I buy Edo mizore at origami-papier.eu.
