I added exta 16GB of RAM and now the laptop is hotter and fan makse more noise. Have any of you noticed this problem? I added Samsung 16GB DDR4 3200MHz SO-DIMM RAM

After I install a new 16GB DDR5 4800MHZ memory module in the second slot and press the boot button, the laptop turns on, the keyboard turns on but the screen goes black as if there is no image, what could this be? Do I have to wait some time?

Do you have to go into bios and change anything or does it just automatically boot up?

I installed 64 ram and my screen went black. I turned it on and only the keyboard lit up. How long do I need to wait?

Great video. It would have taken me forever to find those 2 screws under the rubber "bumper", that alone was a huge find! Thank you very much! For others doing this, after plugging in and turning on, the keyboard lit up and it took a couple minutes before the screen came on, but then it did come on. I read elsewhere it might be testing or configuring the new memory (I'm not sure technically). But it does take a couple of minutes, so don't worry right away.

i did the same, but i'm having issues on, i think you;re supposed to remove the battery before upgrading the ram because my m16 after leaving it shut down for the whole night doesn't turn on the next morning without being plugged in

Does the computer take some time to power on? I have replaced mine with DDR5 4800 MHz and have plugged it in but the screen would not power on.

WiFi and Bluetooth is soldiered down? So can't upgrade it?
