We’re in the third and fourth rotation on these lands now. If this was filmed in the sixties, and the timber they were looking at was forty years old then, it’s been cut twice and replanted twice since then.
wow, I worked here in 1973 to 1975, and they sure had great food and you needed it, hard work but I loved it, sure do miss them days, and I have a lot of stories that happened there lol.
I worked for Erickson Air Crane in the mid 70, Simpson fed our crew in the cook house one summer we logged some rock bluffs east of lake Wynoochee (hope I spelled it right) above Grisdale
Wow I sure heard a lot about this place. From my old boss. He always told me this tree work is easy compared to the woods I use to work in .

yes I remember Erikson kind of telling our age isn't it I wouldn't trade them days for nothing great memories
The mountains above that lake are part of the reason my knees are shot,I always wanted to get back to that country.
