I don't know if you're still reading the comments on this video, but i think it would do good to pin a comment or something updating FlowBee's pronouns. I've seen some really hateful messages as recently as this month misgendering her. While what she did sucked, i don't think cheating in a competition warrants the hateful things I've seen in these comments

Some time ago I analyzed the runs and I said multiple times some things were off.

I know I'm a bit late, but it's funny to me how obvious it is, even as someone who isn't experienced with Minecraft speed running. The way they search is just so abnormal, and not logical in any way, even if they weren't trying to speed run. The way they just flat out refuse to look at open areas where they could potentially catch a glimpse of a bastion or a fortress is genuinely painful to watch. Not to mention the painfully obvious seeds that were easy resets. I wouldn't even want to play the normal game on some of these seeds because of how awful the starting area is, let alone speed run them. I didn't know just how deep this rabbit hole went. It seemed pretty cut and dry from Karl Jobst's video. Seemed like it was just a couple suspicious runs that raised some flags, and people caught on to it. The fact that they consistently had "insanely lucky runs" despite the illogical choices, and terrible reset efficiency, is absolutely baffling. I really didn't understand the scope of that in particular until watching this video.

There is no online community harder to fool than speedrunners. You can convince casual players that your faked speedrun is legitimate, but you can't convince the speedrunners themselves. There are people hired by the government in Canada, the US, the UK, and probably most of the world to study the intricate design of paper money. They become so familar with it that they can spot a counterfit within seconds, even if the counterfit is professionally crafted. Basically impossible to counterfit Canadian money since it contains holograms and shit, but you can definitely counterfeit 90s and 2000s bills. It can easily fool laymen, but it can't fool the minters. Same deal with speedruns. Speedlunners spend so much time optimizing their games and experiencing all of its idiosyncrasies that a fake is immediately apparent to them. So apparent that it may as well be an 8 year old trying to buy beer with his grandpa's drivers license.
