I have 1 of these they became expensive over the years it's a very unique alarm for a chime strobe

Oh that's amazing! If I'm not mistaken, this is the very first video of testing all the tones on one of these with the strobe flashing. I've also always thought it was an interesting device for having electromechanical tones so it still doubles as a horn/strobe in some form.

I have an SHG myself. Figured I’d watch this to know more about it. Didn’t know some SHGs with the newer horn sound did march time! My SHG was made on 8/15/1996 btw and is a 15/75-WR with the older horn

My school opened in 1999 but they have the transition alarms for some reason. They are replacing these with System Sensor L series and there was this drill that happened in the middle of the process and the combination sounded pretty good.

Had no idea of the differences between the two serieses (heck I'm not sure I even knew there were two different serieses to begin with), thanks for the explanation! I have an FS1-1 myself but would probably much rather have an FS2-1 given its sound.

My old speech therapist’s office had this alarm. SHG always fascinated me due to the fact you can program different tones into it (siren, hi-lo, whoop, chime) and the fact it sounds like a Commander 3.
