Here is the Honda 250RX. This is great bike that really benefits from some simple mods....some I featured in the video. A great bike because it has the side stand, and 18" rear wheel, and selectable engine mapping.

I wanted one of these sooooo bad until I saw made in China. That hurt my heart. My 1999 xr100r has been going for YEARS with no problems. But this just doesn't seem like it would last near as long with that made in China sticker. (My 1999 xr100r was made in Japan)
Honda is like Toyota some Toyotas are made in different countries, the CRF230 from here in the states are made in Brazil, Honda is Honda..
I'm liking this been looking at 300l dual purpose but am curious as to if a 125 like this can be made street legal and how well it would do with a 5' 11" 190lb man at 55mph or is that possible. Price and kickstart I like and I just want a toy. 49cc scooters an option but this not much more money.

These bikes are extremely slow and underpowered. Do not buy one.
They are trail bikes, not track bikes. BIG difference. They are perfect for kids and anyone who likes cruising off road. Yes, there are far faster machines, but none are this small, nor have a year round Green Sticker.
maybe if you would get off the rear of the bike and stop weighing it down and pushing the kid then maybe he would learn

I’m stuck on the 110cc vs 125cc. The main difference is the semi auto clutch and disk brakes.

To each their own. But keep in mind there are different types of Chinese quality. Some are great, some so so. Honda has a long established facility in China that has been building bikes for a long time. This bike has great build quality, has zero defects, and runs exactly as it should ....and starts immediately no matter how long it sits. In other words.....It's a Honda. Not too different to the Brazil made Yamaha's.

Lovely bike 👍great close up video - I wonder why is it made in China yet it’s a Japanese brand ? I take it they outsource it to Chinese manufacturers or Hondas build factory is outposted in China . Chinese bikes typically get a bad or frosty reception over Japanese main players like Honda , yam , kawa etc and yet here we have the main brand built in China ?🤷🏻♂️
Probably to increase profits. Yamaha has been building their small bike in Brazil for years. While it's a little disappointing, the build quality is very good, and it has exactly what you'd expect from a Honda.

150F was so much better, 6 speed, front disc brake, more power, and nimble? Longer lasting in my opinion.
The 150F was a great bike. Honda eliminated some models like the CRF70(became 110), 80(became 125F), 100(became 125FB) and the 150 and bridged the gap with the now 110(big bore CRF70) and 125 big wheel. The 150 R is still available but it is more set up as a MX bike and not a trail bike. The old Honda line up of CRF50, 70, 80, 100, 150, 230 was really something. Each bike used to be a step up. Now, it's more like jumps.
The 125f will last just as long as the 150, and it does have front breaks, and the bike is just as nimble

At the time he was 4"11. He just moved up to this bike. He started on a Yamaha TTR50(his brother's old bike), and then moved up a Honda CRF70...which has an auto-clutch.

Yes you can. Yoshimura(my favorite) makes a nice exhaust for it.

Hi. Yes, Absolutely a great bike. Never fails to start, runs perfect. I would highly recommend it!

@@kerm9807 They make just about 9 horsepower and weight less than 200 pounds. Not sure if it's more powerful than a Chinese 125cc pitbike, but I would guess it might be better quality.

I was thinking about buying the big wheel version of that bike, but ended up buying the Suzuki DRZ125L big wheel instead. Mainly because the price of the Suzuki was much lower, but also because the Suzuki is a five speed, and has very nice alloy wheels instead of the chromed steel. I still like that Honda 125 though, it's a great looking bike.
Suzuki's are great. It's always tough when trying to decide between bikes, but it sounds like you made a great choice.

Congrats on the new bike! Yeah, the exhaust is tuned for EPA requirements so it's a little soft. Yoshimura makes a great exhaust for this bike though!

I’m 5’1 1/2 115 pounds should I get the crf 125 big wheel or should I get a 150r
125
The 125 big wheel version sits about 30 inches high. You’ll most likely be tip toeing on one foot lol. Which is okay for dirt bikes. As long as you have on boots. The 150 is great also but a bit taller, but if you need more power, 150 is the way to go. If you’re looking for something to start riding on, then go for the 125fb. The 125 can pretty much go anywhere off-road.
Go to the dealer and sit on each one. It sounds like a 125 big wheel may be the ticket, but it depends on your inseam.
Might get one next summer, I guess the manufacturer is short on help and not being able to ship them to the dealers
