Did you know Overland Park is denser than kcmo and has a higher job density ? Kcmo has a huge crime problem. Also there’s higher percentages of single family housing in kcmo than Overland Park. Kcmo is a giant suburb.

I moved here from Austin, TX and I don’t regret it. Much more affordable and less traffic. Plus, the locals are very nice ppl-that’s the best part of KC.

Bub, Loch Loyd is in Belton Missouri. Belton is, well not a nice place to be if you’re the “Loch Loyd” type. Beyond that the roads in and out are rough.

I grew up there in the late 80s -early 90s. I was gonna say lack of diversity. Way too white. And snobby. We were poor. Went to school with Mission Hills kids. So glad I escaped. 😅

Suburb has lost its meaning in KC lol. Cities like Overland Park and Lenexa are denser than kcmo and have lower single family housing rates. Most the jobs are in the “suburbs” too !!

A higher percentage of people walk to work in Lenexa than kcmo. Downtown op is super walkable and so is Lenexa city center

Downtown KC sucks it’s got less jobs than the area around the old sprint campus in Overland Park now

Actually buying a home does not guarantee your mortgage payment will not increase. If your homeowners insurance and or taxes increase, so will your mortgage payment.

Lived in Overland Park from 1976 to 1994. Remember a time when there was nothing south of Interstate 435. Had hoped to be back on the Kansas side again, but it is way out of my price range. What is considered "affordable" housing isn't all that affordable.

Can you do a video about Olathe? I moved to Austin in June and now I am regretting it because I can't afford a house here making $63,000 with a Master's degree on a teachers salary. I have read that home prices are much more affordable for teachers in the KC area.

I would say that low to no diversity is a PRO. I say this as a Hispanic/Latino man. Why? The more diversity, THE MORE CRIME! Just a FACT. There’s a reason you boasted at the very beginning how low crime it is. 👀
