The Classic is the Highlight of the UK Lizard Canary show season, the quality was in abundance and helped by the fact that most Lizard Canaries have hardened off and are perfect condition when the show date falls, its definitely the pinnacle of the fancy and one not to be missed.

Interesting that you decided to hide/remove a comment giving you helpful information. Get the UVB meter, test your new bulbs, record it as a video and upload it to RUclips for the world to see.
Hi, if it was removed it would have been accidental but thank you for the information it’s greatly appreciated
Get a uvb light meter to test out those arcadia lights of yours; they don't work as you think they do. Also do a little research on scientific papers that show evidence of UV lights damaging bird eyes and also causing cancer. You can full spectrum lights with the right amount of Kelvin and lumens without it potentially causing health problems for the birds. And also remember that vitamin D is easily supplemented and does not require specialised bulbs for the birds. And yes I know; a lot of people recommend those lights. A lot of people believe advertisements where someone is trying to have a money making edge... Research and skepticism is key. Good luck, thank you for the video; your birds and cinematography are beautiful
Thank you, really helpful I will take a closer look
I don't see any blue lizards in your couple, are they more difficult to breed?
Hi, my focus is the Classic bred Lizard Canary in Gold and Silver (normals) and therefore I don’t highlight any other colour variant on the channel, what I can say is my understanding is that to breed the best quality Blues you need the very best quality gold lizards in the pairing, I’ve seen blue bred normals used but also seen how the quality of the normals and blues deteriorate over time if a quality classic bred (normal) line isn’t used, therefore I believe the recommendation is to maintain what is known to be a Classic bred (normal) line, the key is to understand the background from the breeder, always ask to see the pedigree/pairing records. I want to stress here that I’m not criticising breeders of Blues but sharing what I’ve actually seen and heard, therefore my focus remains to be the Classic bred (normal) Lizard canary.
Enjoyed that mate got any hot tips on sexing

Very good video Thank you
Espectacular, felicidades
Is a silver lizard canary the same as a blue lizard canary ?
No, the blue is something different
A Blue Lizard has a white ground color and the Classic Lizard has a yellow ground color.
That’s a good explanation James, thanks
😢cracking video pal
Cracking video andy well done brother
Thanks 👍
1. Some of the over-year gold cocks show a light flash in their flight feathers. this is a natural effect of aging in some birds and wasn’t present in the first year and will be explained in my next episode. 2. Some of the birds show a twist in the feathers of the neck when they turn their heads this is just a reaction to being in the photo cage and isn’t present when the birds are relaxed in their stock cage.
Piękne te kanarki👍

Hi Andy, Nice to see this. Dave Newton has proved that you you don't need to breed a multitude of youngsters to be up there with the best of them. Jon Martin alerted me to your new channel.
