I am sorry I did not see the notification for your comment. There was a lady with some Mobility issue on our boat. The boat was fairly stable but some movement and we had to navigate the beach to get on board. I would check with your cruise line, often the brief for the excursion will let you know of requirements.

If not if he has time (like his session is later in the day, not first up) book a slot on the normal tenders well before his time and go together that way. We had actually booked normal tenders before we knew about the excursion tenders. I hope he has a great time.

We have done a number of cruises but this was our first with P&O. Our first had been on the former Golden Princess so we were interested in the comparison. One bad cruise won't stop us though. Our boarding experience at White Bay had been smoothest we experienced, unfortunately it was the disparity of on board service that stood out.

@@gemcruiser6082 I have never embarked at white bay. How do you find the comparison with its former Golden Princess days? I am thinking about trying it next year after it goes to carnival.

@@belindafurner5028 hey Belinda, Thanks for watching and I am so excited for you. I sprayed my Macpac down jacket with scotch guard and it was fine. I did also use an umbrella as an extra level of protection in the rain. In my opinion a longer jacket is a good idea. I was glad my jacket was covering my butt and helped keep warm. Another consideration would be the weight, make sure it has good level of warmth. I found that as long as you had a good outer layer, you could do thinner layers underneath.

hey there VeeraS-L yes you can keep the cups, I think they were €2 on top of the gluwhien. Riga was lovely and the apples, waffles and balls were so lovely. Tallinn was also really lovely.

@@CruisingTruth our first P&O as well. I was sad when they announced the dissolving of P&O as I hoping to do more cruising on them. What did you think of the ship?

@@SapphireBlueTravelExplores I loved our cruise, though I did find that they charged for a lot of extras that were complimentary on our other cruises

@@CruisingTruth it us one of the biggest complaints and something that carnival is keeping on these two ships after the rebrand.

We did Australian Open (Tennis) + Australia Day back to back in 2023 I love the adventure bar and the blue room. The live music and shows are a really highlight for me we are going back in Jan 2025 for Australia Day / Moreton Island / Comedy Cruise (10 nights total) doing back to back to back Australia Day will be a party cruise you come into the harbour watch the tall ships and ferry races etc but you leave before the fireworks sadly Then we will follow it up moreton island might get off and do a 1 hr dolphin / whale watching or hopefully they have this northern explorer tour thing but will play it by ear Then we have some friends coming on for the comedy cruise they can join us

@@volrathy1 wow, that sounds exciting. You will definitely know the ship well by the end of all that fun. We did not get to any shows, but enjoyed the live music we heard. We did the glass bottom boat and quick helicopter ride when at Moreton island. We only spent a couple of hours on the island, headed back and enjoyed the quiet of the mostly empty ship. I hope you see lots of whales and have some memorable encounters. Thanks for sharing your exciting upcoming adventures.
