Thank you so much for this post I have an update for getting blood work done for your hCG quantitative outside of the doctor. I’m in North Carolina. We have something called anytime lab and walk in lab. I do walk-in lab because it goes through LabCorp or quest diagnostic hCG test with progesterone is only $65. Be sure that you do quantitative so you can get numbers and not qualitative during my 12 day. wait after transfer I gave in and on my 10 day I bought the test and went to go get my blood drawn cause I really wanted to see my numbers to see when I went in two days later how they were doubling well I got the wrong test and all it told me was I was pregnant, which was great but that’s not what I wanted so you can do that. Also in my state for anxious mamas to be there is actually an organization or a little clinic that will give you ultrasound. You know whenever you feel like you’re in between doctors visits and you really just want to see your baby, they have that here too a good friend of mine uses it every few weeks to go check on her little one way, and it really puts a lot of ease I think.

Thank you for this information, there isn’t much info on this at all. Does anyone have a slight swelling and pain only in one armpit no lump though?Especially when sleeping on that side or carrying a bag etc. I’m in first trimester and noticed armpit pain straight away but it was mild at first and now at week 11 it’s more sometimes radiating to the arm 😢. Doc wasn’t aware of it being a hormonal issue, even though the midwife said it’s a possibility. Waiting to see a specialist because all info online leads to worst possible scenario😢

After I gave birth, I really appreciated my husband. He was super supportive while I was pregnant. Morning sickness is caused by having an empty stomach, so her would set an alarm to wake up in the middle of the night to prepare me some food, to make sure that I always had a full belly. I experienced itchiness on my abdominal skin, so her would run anti-itch lotion on my tummy. After I popped out the kid, hubby absolutely bore his fair share of the burden when it came to taking care of the baby.

This is a hypothetical scenario, what if you take the 4 weeks leave before birth and give birth you have a C-section, then have postpartum, what is your total disability leave in terms of weeks? Since you’re eligible to take 4 months PDL how does the 4 weeks before birth get calculated into those 4 months. For example, could you take 5 months with this approach (includes the 4 weeks prior to birth) or are you capped at 4 months in total with PDL.

My sister is a twin and her hcg is 400000 at 8 weeks. Could she be having twins? We find out in 3 days😂🎉

Currently going threw low hcg ,just had my hcg checked 2 days ago and it was only 426.20 and i "suppose" to be 5 weeks along but going back to E.R tomorrow to check hcg levels & possibly have an ultrasound . You are no alone mommas ❤🙏

I have irregular cycles as well. I’m currently on day 44 of my cycle and testing negative. The longest cycle iv had was like 39days. So this is weird for me.

8days past my 5days blastocyst transfer day, i had a small amount of bleeding. And 10days past, saw a bit of blood again with a small clot. 4w 1day (10days past), i got the hcg 438, 4w 3day (12days past), the level became 1130. I am shocked when the doctor called me about the result. What was the bleeding about then? I was so convinced that i miscarried but now i can have a hope that this can be a viable pregnancy?? Waiting for the ultrasound by 6w 2d.

If you pay into SDI and your employer offers their own maternity leave would you still be eligible for PDL? I have had many complications in my pregnancy and I do not think I will make it to my due date.
