thank you for the video you are the only surgeon that showed any type of restraint for the array. I am getting this surgery in a few days nice Video thank you
Thanks to Bill Baber for doing my Cochlear Implant surgery, I had mine done in 1997 and have never regretted having it done. I went from Zero hearing to around 96/97 % hearing but the success is because I could hear sounds before I went Deaf and have since learnt new sounds and still to this day learn new sounds.
Wonder why you couldn't insert electrode through eardrum?
I raised the possibility of a Cochlia implant wih my Audiologist but got a negative response .Can I self refer ? if so to whom?
Legend I remember him from early 80s
Such a legend and so good to be talking about this. I cannot believe he had such bad hearing during his playing days.
