Whatever this is, it's something other than Billy Wilder's 1950's Noir classic. Since it has obviously been dragged into the 21st Century, why does Joe Gillis have a crew, body guards, and a camera person with a big camera + lighting rig? It seems to me that Gillis would have a cheap smart phone inside a light ring affixed to a selfie stick, and he'd be all by himself since he can't get anyone to hire him. This gives the impression that he's somewhat successful when - if this version is true to the source material - he can't even get arrested, much less hired to write a screenplay. Jamie Lloyd needs to create a completely updated version of a Sunset Boulevardesque TikTok Short, all done in episodes.
Yeah the original is better than these hacks.
It would have to be raining, wouldn't it.

This will go very well once they're in New York. 😉
Can confirm!
Can confirm, it went very well and got a standing ovation during the show Saturday night.
Ah, right... I was wondering how the outdoor blocking would account for rain
