Actually the cable release screws into the shutter release button (it's threaded inside) you pointed to the flash connector (PC connector), if I may correct a tiny thing. Otherwise a good walkthrough! Thanks for sharing

Hey Guys, I just recently shot a Minolta Riva 70w point & shoot of eBay. It was a present for my gf and her birthday trip to Tuscany, so pretty perfect. She just took the 13th shot of a Kodak Gold 200, so nothing fancy, and the cam just automatically rewinded the entire film.. Any ideas/tips whatever on how to fix/repair etc.? Cheers in advance!!
